Olin itse asiassa jo viime lokakuussa halunnut viedä lapset katsomaan Hongkongin palatsimuseon Egypti-näyttelyä, mutta uutisissa näin, että siellä oli liikaa ihmisiä, ja pelkäsin ruuhkaa. Siksi halusin löytää arkipäivän, jolloin lasten ei tarvitsisi mennä kouluun. Lopulta odotin melkein kesäloman loppuun asti, ennen kuin sain aikaiseksi ostaa liput Klookista. Egypti-näyttely päättyy 31. elokuuta, joten onneksi ehdimme vielä. Klookista liput ostaessa sai alennusta, ja sisäänpääsy sähköisellä QR-koodilla oli myös erittäin kätevää, eikä tarvinnut jonottaa lippujen ostamista tai noutamista. Ostimme liput kello 14–18, ja onneksi saavuimme ajoissa (noin kello 13.45). Pääsimme sisään jo kello 13.45, eikä tarvinnut jonottaa. Aluksi ihmisiä ei ollut vielä kovin paljon, ja näyttelyhallissa 9 pienen jonotuksen jälkeen pääsi katsomaan näyttelyesineitä ja ottamaan kuvia läheltä. Myöhemmin ihmisiä alkoi kuitenkin tulla enemmän, ja jonotusajat pidentyivät. Oli kuitenkin erittäin palkitsevaa päästä näkemään tuhansia vuosia vanhoja muinaisen Egyptin näyttelyesineitä läheltä! Kun lähdimme näyttelyhallista 9, sen ulkopuolella oli jo pitkä jono, joten jos aiot mennä, kannattaa ehdottomasti saapua mahdollisimman aikaisin välttääksesi ruuhkat.

We went on a very sunny day, the weather was great. We took the Crystal Cabin. There were more sights on the right side – the airport, the big bridge... (Actually, you can see them more clearly from an airplane; the cable car isn't high enough). But on the left side, you can eventually see the Big Buddha and Po Lin Monastery. In the Crystal Cabin, it feels like you're standing on water and above the forest. I later realized that the Ngong Ping 360 advertisement features the panoramic cabin. I believe the panoramic cabin would give an even stronger 'person in the air' sensation. When we arrived, there were still decorations for the 20th anniversary, even though it had just ended. There's an Ngong Ping Bing Sutt (cafe) for photo opportunities. Inside the cabin, only the small windows open for ventilation, so it felt a bit stuffy. On the return trip, in a standard cabin, the sun hadn't set by 6:00 PM because it was summer, and clouds were covering the sun. I recommend allowing more time, 5 hours or more, if you want to visit the Big Buddha in addition to Po Lin Monastery. I didn't go up that day, not only because I didn't have enough time but also because it was too sunny; the weather only became overcast closer to 5 PM. I had been up before, so I didn't go again, but last time I took the bus only to the Big Buddha and didn't visit Po Lin Monastery.

Loistava kokemus! Heillä on omat jonot ryhmävarauksille, joten pääsimme puistoon jonottamatta, mikä oli erittäin kätevää. Kaikki nauttivat laitteista, kohtaamisista, paikoista ja peleistä. Suosittelen lämpimästi varaamaan Klookin kautta.

Nautin sekä kokoelmanäyttelyistä että erikoisnäyttelyistä. Etuna on, että pääsee näkemään aasialaista nykytaidetta. Tällä hetkellä on käynnissä "Lee Bulin yksityisnäyttely". Esillä on myös korealaisten taiteilijoiden, kuten Kimsoojan ja Nam June Paikin, teoksia. Länsi-Kowloonin alue ja Victoria Harbour, jotka näkyvät lasi-ikkunoiden välistä, ovat jo itsessään nähtävyys. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja avuliasta, mikä osoitti heidän panostuksensa. Lähellä on ruokarekkoja, joten näyttelyn jälkeen voi hyvin syödä lounasta tai illallista. (Kävin myös viereisessä palatsimuseossa ja näin Egypti-näyttelyn.)

Using the dining voucher at Hong Kong Disneyland was very easy and convenient. The process was smooth, and we had no trouble redeeming it at the restaurants inside the park. Take note, that we just decided to book it when we were already at the park that day. Hassle free, indeed. It made dining hassle-free and allowed us to enjoy our meals without worrying too much about payments. A great add-on to enhance the overall Disneyland experience.

Before heading to JOYPOLIS SPORTS HONG KONG to burn off some energy, I compared prices across various platforms, from the official website to travel apps. After much deliberation, Klook offered the best value, with an affordable price that included many activities, saving me a lot! The venue is neither too big nor too small; the space is just right, so you don't feel cramped while playing, and you won't get tired from walking around. The package covers two floors, each with its own surprises. One floor is a colorful children's area, with the giant maze ball pit being the most eye-catching feature. The maze pathways are winding and intricate, with surprises around every corner. The ball pit is filled with so many balls it looks like a soft, colorful ocean. Children crawl and jump inside, with laughter and squeals echoing everywhere – it's incredibly lively! The other floor is an exciting zone designed for adults, with challenging game designs that offer both speed and immersion. Whether it's competitive battles or cooperative quests, your adrenaline will be pumping, and it definitely doesn't feel childish. What surprised me most is that this place is much more than just a typical family fun park. Even if you come with a few friends, you'll have an amazing time, laughing until your stomach hurts. The atmosphere is vibrant and joyful, making it a fantastic alternative for a friends' get-together! I also have to mention the interactive real-life games. The visuals are so realistic that it feels like you're actually there. After playing, you can instantly download videos of your heroic moments, preserving every thrilling and hilarious memory. You'll still be laughing when you watch them again at home! In summary, JOYPOLIS SPORTS is definitely a great value, fun, and surprising indoor entertainment hotspot. Whether you're with family or friends, you're guaranteed to have a rewarding experience. After playing, I'm already planning my next visit!
