We had an excellent half-day tour of Hanoi with Mac. From the start, he was incredibly informative, friendly and attentive, tailoring the experience to our interests rather than simply following a fixed itinerary. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he went out of his way to make sure we had the best possible experience. His knowledge of Hanoi’s history, culture and hidden gems was exceptional, and his English was outstanding, making everything easy to understand and engaging. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, personable guide who genuinely cares about his guests, I can’t recommend Mac highly enough.

We had a wonderful experience on the Hanoi Half Day City Tour. Quinn, our tour guide, spoke very clear English and explained every stop very well, making the tour both informative and enjoyable. She was also very helpful during an emergency situation, which we truly appreciated. Special thanks as well to Tong, our driver, for being attentive and making sure we were comfortable and safe throughout the trip. Highly recommended!

Even though it was a half day tour it was worth a while and value for money and a lot to learn from Vietnamese culture and history, Mac who was our guide was spot on and very clear in on all the aspects and history.

Meillä oli upea kokemus puolen päivän kaupunkikierroksellamme Hanoissa, ja suuri osa siitä oli oppaamme Zackin ansiota. Noudosta jättämiseen hän oli uskomattoman lähestyttävä, ystävällinen ja huomaavainen. Hän teki koko kierroksesta hauskan ja nautittavan, ja hän varmisti jatkuvasti, että kaikki olivat tyytyväisiä. Zack on erittäin asiantunteva, erityisesti historian suhteen. Hän selitti kaiken selkeästi ja aidolla intohimolla, mikä teki jokaisesta pysähdyksestä merkityksellisemmän. Itse kierroksen lisäksi hän käytti aikaa suositellakseen hyviä matkamuistomyymälöitä ja paikallisia ruokapaikkoja, mitä todella arvostimme. Eniten mieleen jäi se, kuinka paljon hän välitti vieraidensa hyvinvoinnista – kaikki tuntui turvalliselta (kiitos kuljettajamme!), hyvin järjestetyltä ja harkitusti hoidetulta alusta loppuun. Jos voisin antaa hänelle sata tähteä, antaisin! Tämä oli todella merkittävä kokemus, ja tekisimme sen ehdottomasti uudelleen, kun perheemme palaa Vietnamiin.

We had so much fun booking this half day city tour especialky with our best tour guide Kelvin, who is so informative about the history of Hanoi. He is so patient with us and assisting us with all our needs. The driver, Mr T (Winner) is very careful in his driving. Overall, this tour is not to be missed.

We participated in the afternoon Hanoi half day city private tour in December 2025. We enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it. Well planned itinerary, with good coverage and comfortable pace. Pickup / drop-off at hotel is very convenient. Suitable for anyone including elderly. Our local guide was a cheerful, enthusiastic lady, April. She was great, very fluent in english, professional, knowledgeable and informative. We learned a lot from her. It was a great experience overall. Thank you April. The van was spacious for three. Also, Stella from Crossing Vietnam Travel was very accomodating and agreed to swap coffee in old quarter to coffee in train street. Highly recommended!

This tour is highly recommended for those who have senior citizen companions. You no longer need to book taxis to hop in and out of Hanoi's attractions. Also, I would like to commend our tour guide, Khoi, for being, of course, handsome! Haha, and for being the coolest and most amazing tour guide for our family. He is very fluent in English, as if it's his first language. "Sticky Rice!" Haha. We didn't even feel he was a stranger; we felt as if he was our family member! He had a lot of energy till the end of our tour and made it very chill. Thank you, Khoi! Stay energetic and cool as you are! 💓🙏🫶🇻🇳

We booked a city tour in Hanoi through Klook, and it was an excellent experience! Our tour guide, Mac, was very kind, friendly, and professional. He spoke fluent English and was able to converse with us Filipinos naturally, which made the tour even more enjoyable and comfortable. Mac was knowledgeable, approachable, and made sure we had a great time throughout the day. We truly appreciated his efforts and would like to commend him for doing such a great job. We had a great time. We learned so much from this tour. Of course, thanks to our tour guide, Harley, who was very informative and easy to talk to. I love our halfday city tour because of the beautiful places, good weather, and excellent tour guide. Kudos to our tour guide Travis for being so informative and answers all of our inquiries about the history. He give us enought time to each places. He is also good and patience in taking our photos.
