Fantastic 5.0
We were able to take our time watching the dolphins playing, which was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. It was also fun to see all the beautiful luxury homes along the way — I was especially impressed that they are located so close to where dolphins come! I was able to make a reservation on the same day, which was very helpful. At first, I went to the location pinned as “Mandurah Cruise,” but a staff member kindly explained where I should go, which I really appreciated. It’s also very easy to get there — only about a 10-minute bus ride from Mandurah Station — so I think it’s a perfect place for a day trip!

We had a fantastic Margaret River day tour! Everything was well organised, and our driver/guide, Michael, was friendly, knowledgeable, and kept the day running smoothly. We visited beautiful scenic spots, enjoyed great food and wine, and had plenty of time at each stop. Even though Lake Clifton was closed, the replacement stop at Vasse Virgin was a nice addition. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to experience the best of Margaret River in a day!

Fantastic 5.0
I purchased a pass that allowed me to choose three activities from many options. Considering the individual prices, it felt like a good deal. I think it's very convenient and cost-effective if you choose a pass after deciding what you want to do. I selected the three options shown in the picture. Ease of redemption: It was straightforward.

Fantastic 5.0
Tour guide Jonny planned this Australian trip with exceptional care, leaving us with wonderful memories. Arriving at the long-awaited Busselton Jetty, we boarded the vintage train that stretches all the way out to the middle of the ocean, witnessing firsthand this famous source of inspiration for "Spirited Away." The ocean views along the way were breathtaking. Next, we visited the Canal Rocks, where majestic waves crashed against the rocks, and the seawater displayed rich, interlaced shades of deep and light blue, creating a stunning and jaw-dropping landscape. Finally, the Mandurah stargazing was the ultimate highlight! Thank the heavens for the brilliant night sky, and a huge thank you to Jonny, who was extremely attentive and professional in guiding everyone on how to use their phones and cameras to capture beautiful photos of the night sky. It was a truly glowing conclusion to the entire journey under the dazzling starlight, and we wholeheartedly and strongly recommend him!

The entire trip was very satisfying. The staff were very attentive, the atmosphere was great, and every detail was explained thoroughly. Not only did we get to catch, taste, and enjoy lobsters and other seafood during the trip, but we also had the opportunity to see dolphins. Awesome 😄

What to know before visiting Mandurah

Mandurah’s top experiences through the year

Mandurah is best known for its Cruises and Tours, with cruises dominating bookings and tours offering the widest range of choices. Demand builds through spring and peaks in June, then drops into January before recovering through the rest of the year.

What different travellers tend to pick

Families often opt for Cruises for relaxed, scenic outings that suit mixed ages, while Tours appeal to groups wanting varied, budget-friendly options and niche day trips. Couples will find both Cruises and Tours appealing depending on whether they prefer a premium on-water experience or a more flexible land-based itinerary. Solo travellers and small groups can especially benefit from the variety in Tours, which cover the broadest spread of styles and prices.

What travellers book ahead

What travellers book in advance Most things in Mandurah can be picked up a day or two before travel, since typical booking windows are short; however, the earliest planners still tend to reserve seats around 20 days ahead. Booking well in June—the busiest month—is wise if you need specific dates or popular cruise departures.

Comparing categories: price and who they suit

Tours are the easiest way in, typically the cheapest option and the category with the widest spread of choices from budget to premium, so they suit travellers seeking flexibility and variety. Cruises sit at the higher end of the typical price range and appeal to those after a more curated on-water experience. Together they cover most traveller needs: Tours for variety and value, Cruises for a more elevated seaside outing.
