Cosas que hacer en Estación de metro de Xinbeitou

Visitar Beitou Water House para una sesión privada de baños termales fue uno de los momentos más relajantes y destacados de nuestro viaje a Taipéi. Originalmente entramos con la intención de comprar las entradas en el lugar, pero el personal de recepción fue increíblemente honesto y servicial, sugiriéndonos que reserváramos a través de Klook, ya que podría ser más barato. Lo reservamos en nuestros teléfonos directamente en el vestíbulo, y toda la experiencia de 90 minutos fue simplemente la mejor. El cálido baño de azufre blanco hizo maravillas en nuestros músculos cansados, ayudándonos a recuperarnos completamente después de caminar más de 20,000 pasos cada día de nuestro viaje. Entre el agua mineral terapéutica, el ambiente elegante y el excepcional servicio al cliente, definitivamente regresaremos en nuestra próxima visita a Taipéi.

The facility was very good. The hot spring was also very pleasant. It wasn't like those strong sulfur springs where all your belongings smell like the hot spring when you get home; it was just right. The access from the station and other tourist spots is also good, so I recommend it if you're visiting Taipei. However, I imagine it's similar at most hot springs, but regulars seem to dominate the space. I was warned for not wearing a shower cap (which isn't customary in Japan), while they were eating food they brought into the bathing area. I want to respect local rules, so if shower caps are mandatory, I would appreciate it if that were clearly stated. If eating and drinking are also permitted, removing the 'no eating/drinking' signs would prevent me from feeling confused.

Taking a hot spring bath for 3 hours is really wonderful; you can soak at a leisurely pace, and even rest a bit afterwards, which is truly great! After checking out, there's dessert to enjoy, and on top of that, they also serve century egg and lean pork congee, red bean soup, ice cream, and more! The only minor drawback is that the hot spring tub is not very large, so you can't fully stretch out your legs!

All of the amenities are functioning right except the water station, the cold water is not available. A vendo at the snacking area could be also useful. Nonetheless, I had a great experience with Shan Yue and will definitely comeback for more.

La experiencia fue bastante buena. Tres horas fueron suficientes para disfrutar del baño termal y relajarnos después. De todas formas, habría sido mejor en la temporada de frío.

I made a last-minute reservation the day before, but it was easy to use, which was great. If you show your voucher, they'll guide you right away. If you're not using it immediately, it would be good to ask if you can do it at your preferred time first. I thought the front desk staff would tell me the available times, but they immediately assigned a time, which led to a slight communication breakdown. It's not hard to find from the station, and there's a Hot Spring Museum and Geothermal Valley right nearby, so you can also do some sightseeing. I highly recommend it!

such a great experience. paid $77 for private suite . staff can speak English, Japanese, and mandarin. each floor has different layouts. we had marble layout on 5th floor. when it’s less busy they’ll give you the nicer rooms. if peak time of year or weekend you might get smaller room. we got popsicles after our stay which was nice. overall super nice. toilets are in each room w bidet

Esta fue mi primera experiencia en un onsen y me encantó. La habitación estaba limpia y bien equipada con aperitivos y bebidas. Fue la actividad de autocuidado perfecta. No puedo esperar a volver.

¡Tuve un viaje maravilloso a Yangmingshan y Beitou! Nuestro guía turístico fue muy amable y servicial. Compartió muchas historias interesantes sobre la historia y la vida local en Taiwán, y nos ayudó a tomar muchas fotos hermosas.
