From the start when we arrived the check in process wasn’t explained correctly by the staff as we arrived too the elevator and were stuck in the elevator corridors with multiple couples for almost an hour. Once we arrived in the room it smelt very strongly of pain and finisher and we had to open the door to the balcony to try air it out. The aircon system was also having issues on the touch screen the night we stayed there there was some wind but the wind was traveling threw the whole building and was causing all the doors and so on to rattle causing us to have a horrible sleep. Also you must of been doing maintenance Outside the building as the window cleaning ropes had been left out and were hitting the glass all night along with the constant howling of the wind at different tone levels caused us too have next to no sleep. The experience was horrible and we will never be staying there again

Star residences are perfect place to stay when in Gold Coast. A massive shopping centre is right next door and Broadbeach restaurants and grocery stores are walking distance. Very spacious and clean appartments with beautiful views. Highly recommended!

Location was great.. how ever there was a loud whistling noise in the apartment quite regularly during our stay. Informed the reception staff who weren’t to worry about it..

It is a massive property the Star in the Gold Coast but situated in Broadbeach it’s where you want to be. The Residences are a great option over a hotel room both for the space and amenities in room as well as the location, adjacent to, but not in the casino proper. Apartments have what you want, kitchen, laundry plenty of room. If you book the right ones ocean view, balcony and theatre room. Walk to all the restaurants and the residences have 2 pools as well as gym and steam room - we were totally impressed with the quality and value
