The facility is beautiful but what really made the experience that much better was how helpful and kind the staff was. Rooms were clean and looked very nice. Location wise this is such a great spot to be for doing things in Kyoto I’d definitely come back again.

Absolutely lovely stay, wish I stayed for longer! The hotel elements were immaculate, mixing Western and Japanese influence, and the room had more than enough space for the two of us. I recommend booking at least 4-5 months in advance and possibly more during busy seasons.

The ambiance and everything about this hotel…. Love!! The staff was very attentive and welcoming. Our room was spacious and had a very homey feel. The entry way to the room was separated from the room with a closet for your stuff then a separate door to the room, which was like a mini studio, with a microwave, complimentary cup noodles, beer, soda and juice in fridge. The bathroom had a jacuzzi tub and a waterfall shower head if you choose. I highly recommend this place. It’s also located near so many temples and Shrines. We let them know we wanted breakfast, and they actually bring it to your room. Again…. I recommend this place.
