We didn’t know what to expect coming in but it turned out to be a really great show! Would recommend to anyone who are fans of the French Cancan and just great overall performances and choreographies! The champagne included was also more than enough. A really fun experience to try at least once!

I took the night tour on Wednesday, August 27th. To get straight to the point, I highly recommend the night tour, and I highly recommend our guide, Ms. Kang Da-ye. She took photos of everyone on the tour, explained each piece of art in a way that was easy to understand, and perfectly wrapped up the tour with a complete review of the artworks we saw that day. Thanks to her, I was able to get the most out of my visit to the Louvre Museum. Thank you.

It’s quite convenient not to have to wait in the regular line, and having a tour guide to lead you directly to the Mona Lisa section is a definite plus. However, it’s advisable to book an earlier time slot; otherwise, you may not have enough time to visit all the attractions. Additionally, if you have a baby stroller, consider this before booking the tour, as it may not be very stroller-friendly.

My first time trying a VR experience, and it was in Notre Dame! I was completely surprised. The scenes were very realistic and fun, and also educational. The step-by-step explanation of Notre Dame through the changing scenes was very clear and easy to understand. It's definitely worth trying, and I'd love to play it again sometime.

Booking wasn't the easiest and took some time to figure out... but Sainte-Chapelle is absolutely worth seeing. It feels so surreal in Paris!😍

Things to Do in Luxembourg Gardens, France

Admire the sculptures and statues

As you walk through Luxembourg Gardens, you'll spot many statues from Roman and Greek myths. Look for Venus, Diana with her deer, and Vulcan holding his helmet and hammer. You'll also see nymphs, cherubs, and satyrs. One of the strangest statues shows Silenus, the god of wine's foster father, naked and drunk, being helped onto a donkey!

Sail Toy Boats on the Pond

You can rent small, colorful sailboats and let them float across the big pond in front of the palace. This fun tradition, called "bateaux à voiles," has been around since the 1920s. Even if you don't sail one yourself, it's a great spot to take photos with the boats, gardens, and palace in the background.

Watch a Puppet Show

Luxembourg Gardens is home to the city's largest puppet theater, the Théâtre des Marionnettes. Even if you don't speak much French, the colorful puppets and fun stories make the shows easy to enjoy. It's a great experience for kids and adults looking for something a little different and playful during their visit.

Visit the Playground

There's a playground called the Ludo Jardin that reopened in 2019. It's a fun place for kids to burn off energy. The playground has all kinds of equipment, from modern slides and forts to wooden structures and even an art piece that works like a maze.

Check out the Medici Fountain

The Medici Fountain, also called the Marie de Medici Fountain, is a special spot in Paris. This shady, cool grotto is full of beauty and history. A long pool of water, lined with flower-filled stone urns, leads to a large sculpture showing mythical and magical figures. It's a peaceful place to explore and enjoy during your visit.

Enjoy the Views of Luxembourg Palace

When you visit, you'll see the Luxembourg Palace (Palais du Luxembourg), which looks like a grand country chateau right in the middle of the city. Built by Marie de Medici, it fits perfectly with the beautiful gardens around it. Over the years, the palace has held artwork and even prisoners on their way to the guillotine.

Today, it's where the French Senate meets. With its tall windows, detailed clock, and elegant roof, the palace is a stunning and historic centerpiece for you to admire during your visit.

Visit the Garden of the Great Explorers

Next to Luxembourg Gardens is the smaller Garden of the Great Explorers. It ends at the beautiful Observatory Fountain, with statues of animals and figures holding a globe. The garden honors explorers Marco Polo and Robert Cavelier de la Salle. It's a quiet spot with flowers and statues, perfect for a peaceful walk.
