Hotels near Hakuba Iwatake Mountain Resort

Free parking at hotel. Breakfast is decent, but repetitive. Bathroom is huge. Private onsen is hard to book.

I checked in late that evening. Although I was delayed, the staff did not leave check-in instructions for me, and there were no directions at the front desk. Fortunately, two people were chatting outside the door, and I wasn't sure if they were staff members. After asking them, they helped me find my room.

Room was clean and big with great views. Stayed during the summer. Did not have the chance to use the onsen.

Conveniently located in Hakuba and accessible to the trails, The Happo is a hotel worth returning to, for its warm and friendly service; and free laundry!
