Clean and cozy rooms just enough for you to stay rested while in the room. Locatio is superb as its within near a church, medical centre, playground and the famous Eat street. Plenty of parking within the vicinity. Same owner with Novotel so access to gym and spa in Novotel is allowed using the Ibis access card. Overall, a cheaper option to stay in Rotorua.

The breakfast was great! The automatic pancake machine was fun to use, and the pancakes were delicious. Plus, the staff was very friendly and even helped us microwave our food. Woolworths is just across the street, which is great for browsing and shopping.

Worth it for the price, nothing fancy but you can stay comfortably.. Easy access to everything, but FYI all facilities like the kitchen and bathroom are communal or shared. I also enjoyed the hot pool during the night.

Nice place, near the city center, minutes away from the lakeside and the Eat Street. But assigned parking was difficult to find.

it was a good location and the room was very spacious and clean, highly recommend this place in that area!

My family and I love the tour in overall. our tour guide, she was so professional and friendly (8:10 am 7/12). we are blessed with the good nice weather. i recommend to go in the morning, as it’s not that hot during summer.

No Other place like it. Jaw dropping scenery. The geyser probably isn't worth going out of the way for, as the crowd and the wait wasn't worth it.

A wonderful cultural overview, thanks to Mr T and his cousins for their enthusiasm and making it a great experience. Unfortunately we didn’t see the kiwi birds and we had some rain but it didn’t ruin the well organised tour. The buffet was excellent, oysters, mussels in white sauce, a range of salads and hot food and desserts. The evening finished with a beautiful haka show.

Stepping into Hell's Gate Geothermal Park in Rotorua felt like entering a prehistoric world. This place is an absolute must-visit! The guided tour, which was nothing short of excellent. Seeing the steaming fumaroles, the boiling mud, and the raw power of the landscape up close was a truly epic experience—nature at its most fierce and beautiful. But the real magic happened afterwards at the mud spa. After exploring the active thermal park, dipping into the geothermal mud baths and sulphur spas was pure heaven. It was superbly refreshing to soak in the warm, nutrient-rich waters while looking out over the misty, unique landscape. What I loved most is how inclusive it is. It really is suitable for all age groups; my whole family, from the elders to the little ones, had a fantastic time. It is the perfect blend of education, adventure, and pure relaxation. If you are in Rotorua, do not miss Hell's Gate. It is an experience for the soul!
