it was on summer discount so it was definitely worth it. guide was very knowledgeable and patient. only downside was that the lunch provided was very average, definitely could've been better, and also they could've at least provided a bottle of water.

this is good for elders or with kids that you cannot climb much but still want to enjoy the scenery. very easy cable car up and down. well paved, however the signage not very clear but you can ask the locals. this route you can see the west/ south/ east/ centre peak. but again you can decide or just only the west peak. but note that even if you have completed trip. the internal transfer bus, will need to wait for enough people before they set off for your transfer to the bus to return to city. my gf took this route due to health reasons. she ended almost the same time of probably an hr earlier than us back to city. she had enjoyed and a nice one.

What an excellent tour! I had such a great experience on this half-day Terracotta Warriors tour. My tour guide, Rainey, was absolutely wonderful. She was so sweet, friendly, and communicative throughout the entire experience, especially when it came to coordinating the hotel pickup and drop-off.
Rainey was also incredibly knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the history and significance of the Terracotta Warriors in a way that was interesting and easy to follow. She made the entire experience feel seamless and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this tour, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Rainey as your guide!

The tour communicated with us 2days before. The driver and guide are very punctual. Our guide 陈芳is very details and engaging. As we have kids travelling with us, she is so patient and give us quiz to keep my children entertain. The car given is so spacious and comfortable. I would recommend this tour if you only have limited day in Xi'an.

A single imperial banquet, half of Tang Dynasty history. The singing and dancing revolving around Tang Dynasty history were spectacular in every act. For over an hour, there was never a dull moment, whether it was the performances or the food. It truly felt like traveling back to the Tang Dynasty and personally attending a grand feast. It's definitely worth experiencing. #DamingPalaceBanquet

This tour is the best tour for tourist, who comes to Xi'an first time！ Went around famous sightseeing spots very efficiently in one day. Our tour guide was Carol, and she has a lot of knowledge about Xi'an and hospitality. Though i joined this tour in holiday season in China, time managementwas good and there was no delay in itinerary.

More about Xi'an Tours
What to expect
Tours in Xi'an generally cover a mix of historical sites, cultural insights and city highlights, often led by local guides who explain the city’s heritage and context. These experiences suit travelers who enjoy structured visits with storytelling and easier logistics rather than planning every detail themselves.
How to choose
Pricing for tours in Xi'an tends to fall in a moderate band, with many options clustered around the middle and both cheaper and pricier choices available. Entry-level tours are typically budget-friendly group outings or simple guided walks, while higher-priced options offer smaller groups, more personalized commentary or extras—so if predictability matters pick a mid-range option, and if you want something special the upper end gives real choice.
When to go
Demand peaks in December and is quietest in July; December bookings mean busy attractions and fuller tour schedules, while July sees lower demand and a calmer atmosphere. If you want to avoid crowds, aim for the quieter trough in July when availability is generally better and tours feel less crowded.
