Fantastic 5.0
It was a really great day, with a good balance between travelling time, me time for a Saint Emilion visit and 3 wine tastings. A lot of useful information was shared. The guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. He did not rush us at all or pressure us to buy. A great value for money full day tour !

Fantastic 5.0
I was worried because it was an English guide, but I went on the tour. The guide was very friendly and fun, so there was no time to be bored during the tour. It was great that they had a lot of knowledge about wine and answered various questions! We did the half-day tour and visited 2 chateaux! It was a course where we could visit two chateaux, 'CHATEAU FERRIERE' / 'CHATEAU DAUZAC', and taste 3 glasses of wine and take a winery tour! In the middle, they showed us the vineyard and explained the age and related information of the grapevines, and in the middle, we stopped by 'Chateau Margaux' and had time to look around the vineyard and take pictures in front of the castle :) We were able to travel comfortably in a multi-seat Mercedes-Benz! I personally booked with doubts, but I really think I did a great job taking the tour. It was so much fun and I was so satisfied that I wanted to take a full-day tour next time with more time. If other Koreans are also worried, I recommend you to experience it at least once if you like wine 👍👍 (However, tours are usually conducted in 2 languages, English and French, and the winery only explains in French or English, so you need to be able to speak English to some extent to enjoy it more ㅠㅠ I can hardly speak English, but the guides and winery tour guides explained everything very easily, so if you listen slowly, there won't be any major problems with the tour!!) (I want to upload more pictures, but it's a pity there are only 6)

Fantastic 5.0
We really enjoyed the tour! It was a mix of biking, sightseeing, and wine tasting, where you can cycle through St. Emilion to take in the stunning views of the region. Our tour guide, Vicky, was extremely professional, friendly, and fun, guiding us throughout the entire experience with detailed explanations of each spot and sharing local stories! E-bikes are so much fun that they’re just as easy to ride as walking on the street, even when climbing hills.

Fantastic 5.0
This museum is located in a négociant's residence and office. Although the exhibits are limited, they clearly explain the relationship between Bordeaux wine and négociants. (The Japanese in the translation materials is a little difficult to understand, though...) There's a tasting at the end, but it doesn't start unless there are English-speaking staff and visitors who need an English explanation. Also, I was kept waiting for almost an hour because the previous French-speaking visitors were drinking so many glasses. But I was able to enjoy wines I'd never tasted before, so it was worth the wait.

What to know before visiting Bordeaux

Places to Visit in Bordeaux

Place de la Bourse

You can visit Place de la Bourse, one of the most famous squares in Bordeaux, located along the Garonne River. It is best known for its grand buildings and views across the water.

La Cité du Vin

At La Cité du Vin, you can learn about wine culture from around the world. You can explore interactive exhibits, enjoy wine tasting, and look out over the city. If you love wine, it should be one of the top places you should visit in Bordeaux!

The Water Mirror

The Water Mirror sits across from Place de la Bourse and is known as the world’s largest reflecting pool. You can walk across it when the water is low or enjoy photos when it reflects the buildings.

Château Pape Clément

Visit the Château Pape Clément just outside the city for a classic wine country experience. You can book guided tours and wine tasting sessions for your short trip. It is a good stop if you want to explore the Bordeaux wine region.

Cathédrale Saint-André

Cathédrale Saint-André is a key landmark in Bordeaux, France, and dates back many centuries. You can walk inside to see its tall stone interior and learn about local history.

Tips before visiting Bordeaux

1. Best time to visit Bordeaux

You may enjoy Bordeaux most from May to October when the weather is mild. Summer is great for river walks and outdoor cafes, but it can be busy. Spring and early fall are calmer and still pleasant.

2. Getting around the city

You can walk through most of the city center and historic neighborhoods with ease. Trams connect major areas like Place de la Victoire and Place des Quinconces, making it simple to get around without a car. To save money on transport and attractions, book your Bordeaux City Pass through Klook before your trip!

3. What to wear

You should pack comfortable shoes since many streets are made for walking. Casual clothing works well during the day, while evenings at wine bars may feel slightly dressier. (Pro tip: Bring layers for cooler nights.)

4. Saving money while visiting Bordeaux

You can save by eating at markets like Marché des Capucins and booking attractions online. Several museums offer free entry on the first Sunday of each month, including the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux, Musée d’Aquitaine, and Musée des Arts Décoratifs. Public transport is affordable and reliable, so it's easy for you to move around the city.

5. Planning wine tasting

If you plan to taste wine, book vineyard visits ahead of time. Some wine bars allow walk-ins, but popular tours sell out. You can plan and book your Bordeaux day trips through Klook to save time and travel with ease!
