Things to do in Nanning

The van was very clean and relatively new. The driver (who was also a tour guide) was a very nice local expert. It was crowded everywhere during the Spring Festival, and there were traffic jams. Because he was familiar with the area, he saved us a lot of travel time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this tour. The trip was extremely well organised and took us to many amazing areas of West Sichuan which would have been difficult to get to ourselves. Our driver Jia Wei Shi Fu was fantastic and made the long drives as comfortable and smooth as they could be. the concierge staff were also very helpful with booking our attraction tickets and extremely responsive to any questions or requests. As foreigners, we spoke only a bit of mandarin but we were able to manage using translate apps and still had a great time so I don’t think it’s an issue if you don’t speak mandarin. I can highly recommend this tour to others looking to explore this incredible part of China.

I had the best day visiting Mingshi Pastures and Detian Waterfall. I recommend downloading WeChat to easily communicate with the booking team and driver on the day. The app has in built translations so you can easily find out the plan and meeting points for each location. Enough time was given to explore and the scenery was just divine. My eyes and soul are very happy.
