Fantastic 5.0
From the room, you can see both the ocean and the sunset. The hot springs are also very comfortable, and breakfast includes crab legs. You can borrow geta (wooden clogs) in the lobby, and each floor has yukata (robes) that you can choose from. I really liked the tatami mats in the room.

Fantastic 5.0
Booking hotels on Klook is very convenient. The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the station, and there are many izakayas nearby. Among them, Isai is highly recommended; their dishes are not only innovative but also delicious, with every single one being amazing. The best part is that the restaurant offers premium sake by the glass (such as Juyondai, Aramasa, Jikon, etc.). But I'm getting off-topic, so back to the point: booking on Klook also allows you to earn points that can be redeemed for future purchases. New users can get an additional $80 discount by entering 2N85A at checkout.

Fantastic 5.0
The accommodation is great! The accessibility and service are good, and the hot springs are excellent. However, there's really nothing to do in Sakaiminato. Still, I'd like to visit again sometime.

Fantastic 5.0
This is a traditional hot spring inn! When you go to dinner in the evening, housekeeping will come to make your bed. The room only has a toilet; you have to go to the large public bath to shower. However, the sink in the room provides what seems to be lotion and BB cream. Inside the public bath, there are facial cleansers, facial exfoliators, and scrubs for feet and elbows. That exfoliator is really good; I recommend using it thoroughly when you go to shower in the public bath, and then enjoy the hot springs! The public bath also has a water dispenser for drinking water. The hotel parking lot is very large; about ten cars can park at the entrance, and there's another parking lot next to it. The beach is right next door, just past the embankment, super close!

Fantastic 5.0
Although the facilities are a bit old, they are clean and the breakfast is delicious. The parking lot is spacious, making it convenient if you have a car, and the view of Mount Daisen from the room window is absolutely stunning.

Great 4.0
I've stayed at the Okayama branch before and thought it offered great value. When I saw there was a branch in Yonago, I immediately booked it. They offer free breakfast and dinner, which, although simple and unchanging, is still great to have. There's also a large public bath, and the mountain view from the window is beautiful. The room was also spacious.

More about Yonago hotels

What staying in Yonago feels like

Staying in Yonago spans a wide price spectrum: the top nightly options run roughly eleven times higher than the most affordable rooms, so you can choose anything from very budget-friendly to distinctly premium. The best balance between comfort and price is the standard tier, which generally represents the most value for most travellers.

How hotel classes compare and who they suit

Economy rooms sit at the low end, clearly cheaper than the other tiers and suited to travellers prioritising basic cost savings. Standard rooms offer the strongest value and sit between economy and premium, making them the go-to choice for many visitors who want comfort without a steep premium. The biggest price step is from standard up to premium, where rates increase substantially and cater to travellers seeking a much more upscale experience. Premium options are well above the others and best for those willing to pay significantly more for higher-end accommodation.

When travellers from the United States tend to book

Rates peak in August and are lowest in September, so a budget-led trip is better planned for September when nightly rates are notably lower than the priciest month. Rooms are typically booked about a month in advance (around 34 days), with a trend toward locking in reservations earlier for higher-rate periods.
