Fantastic 5.0
The room was nice, but it felt like a boxing ring. There was also a jacuzzi. They don't give you a key, and staff are always watching you when you enter and exit. Overall, it was good, and my kids enjoyed swimming in the jacuzzi. There were also a lot of mirrors. Cleanliness: Needs improvement, but the items were clean; it was just the floor that seemed to have permanent stains. Breakfast: Their brewed coffee was delicious, but their breakfast menu was just like an ordinary 'tapsilugan' (a place serving Filipino breakfast).

Fantastic 5.0
We stayed here for the board exam because it's within walking distance of MCU. The staff were kind and the room was fine. Their food was also delicious. The only downside we encountered was that we could hear people singing karaoke/playing music.

Fantastic 5.0
Had a pleasant stay at Sogo Bagong Bario. The room was clean, AC was cold, and the process was quick. What stood out the most was Ms. Jane at the guest service . She was polite, helpful, and went out of her way to assist us.

More about Caloocan hotels

What staying in Caloocan feels like

Staying in Caloocan ranges from very affordable economy options up to noticeably pricier premium rooms, with the top tier typically costing a little over twice as much as the bottom tier — a modest spread that rewards modest upgrades. The best balance of cost and comfort is usually found in standard hotels, which offer the most common value for travellers.

How the hotel tiers compare and who they suit

Economy rooms sit at the entry level and are the cheapest choice for travellers prioritising low nightly cost. Standard rooms represent the best-value tier and are the most typical pick for travellers seeking a step up in comfort without a large price jump. The biggest price increase comes when moving from standard to premium, so upgrading to premium is the main decision point for travellers weighing extra comfort against a noticeably higher rate. Premium rooms sit above the rest and suit travellers willing to pay more for a clearer quality step.

When travellers from the United States typically book

For travellers from the United States, the cheapest month for nightly rates is September and the priciest is November; a budget-led trip is therefore best timed for September when rates are lower. Rooms here are usually available at short notice, so plans can remain flexible rather than locked in far ahead.
