Fantastic 5.0
The room was nice, but it felt like a boxing ring. There was also a jacuzzi. They don't give you a key, and staff are always watching you when you enter and exit. Overall, it was good, and my kids enjoyed swimming in the jacuzzi. There were also a lot of mirrors. Cleanliness: Needs improvement, but the items were clean; it was just the floor that seemed to have permanent stains. Breakfast: Their brewed coffee was delicious, but their breakfast menu was just like an ordinary 'tapsilugan' (a place serving Filipino breakfast).

Fantastic 5.0
We stayed here for the board exam because it's within walking distance of MCU. The staff were kind and the room was fine. Their food was also delicious. The only downside we encountered was that we could hear people singing karaoke/playing music.

Had a pleasant stay at Sogo Bagong Bario. The room was clean, AC was cold, and the process was quick. What stood out the most was Ms. Jane at the guest service . She was polite, helpful, and went out of her way to assist us.

What to know before visiting Caloocan

Quick snapshot of Caloocan and what to expect

Caloocan draws most interest for local experiences, food and neighbourhood tours, plus short city activities — demand on Klook shows a pronounced yearly rhythm. Bookings peak in April and dip around September, so the city sees clear high- and low-season travel patterns.

Best months to visit for crowds and prices

Klook booking data shows April is the busiest month, while September is the quietest. Prices across the year are fairly stable but tend to be lowest in September and highest in October according to past Klook bookings. If you want smaller crowds and generally lower prices, aim for September; if you prefer peak-season atmosphere and livelier local events, plan for April. Demand and prices mostly move together here — the busiest months also sit toward the higher end of the price range.

Tips for travellers from the United States

Most travellers here book with a bit of planning: typical lead times suggest locking in activities about a week ahead, and that matters most if you travel in April when demand spikes. Many experiences are flexible, though, so you can still arrange popular local tours on short notice outside peak periods; use Klook to compare options and secure spots for the busiest dates.
