NO ENGLISH commentary! It was great to see the Longmen Grottoes and Shaolin Temple. Without an organized transfer, it would have been difficult. So far, the tour has been an absolute enrichment for us. However, and this is a crucial point to know: neither the tour guide nor the bus driver speak English. There is no English commentary (not even a small information sheet) and communication with the tour guide is only possible via a translation app. Our tour group of about twenty people consisted entirely of Chinese speakers, and the commentary was exclusively in Chinese. When I book a trip that is advertised in English, I actually assume that the language requirements of English speakers will be addressed in some way. Incidentally, the tour guide was absolutely nice and friendly, as was the bus driver.

This is a must to do experience! Amazing sightseeing with my knowledgeable guide Sun and if you can spend the $ go on a private tour rather than a group tour. There are hundreds of Chinese tourists groups daily but with a private guide you clearly have an advantage, no wait, no lines, best photo opps.

This is a compact and cost-effective tour without any stops at souvenir shops. Since it's a Chinese-language tour, you'll need to use translation apps like WeChat, but as long as you confirm the meeting time and place with the guide, you'll be fine.

A very well constructive and organized Tour arranged by Bloem. Driver (Mr Hao) is very kind and on time for sending/picking up us to/from the railway station from/to our hotel. After the arrival in Luoyang Train Station, we were greeted by our guide (Ms Cecilia). Ms Cecilia is very knowledgeable, attentive and taking a good care of all of us. We felt at ease throughout the tour and learnt a lot of the history of Luoyang City, Longmen Grottoes and Shaolin Temple. Even at the crowded place, Ms Cecilia managed to guide and secure for us the place at the front stage for Shaolin Kungfu show. She even accompany and send us off at the train station. Overall, we enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend this tour to everyone. It is worth value of money to take the private tour rather than a group tour.

Good tour. Recommended also for foreigner tourist. Even I was the only non-chinese speaker at the group, there are audio guides available at the sites.

A nice experience to visit shaolin temple and white horse temple, good contrast and comparison between the 2 temples. Shaolin temple is very commercialised, the kungfu show needs to queue at least 30min before the next show. very chaotic when moving and do not go to level 2 as there are little seats and very restricted view through the small windows. merchandises sold on the way out from the show are highly over priced. can consider to buy the merchandises online (e.g Taobao) or from local shops if plan to stay in Luoyang for more than 2 days.

booking on klook is fast and easy. the customer service to confirm booking and get qr code to scan / enter the show is exceptional. very happy and grateful for their assistance. highly recommend to book with klook. was given great seats too. arrive 30min. before show start time. its about 7min walk from ticket office / main entrance to the show ground and give yourself time to go toilet. was unlucky with the weather, it sprinkled rain about half way through the show then bucketed rain for the last 5 min. the cast continued to act on stage.. as soon as show finished. everyone ran for cover - including staff. it rained heavily for 30min. was soaked wet even though staff provided everyone with raincoats. a taxi from city centre to the show ground is approx 30 Y and takes 15min. pending traffic. easy to catch taxi to / from, there were taxis waiting at main entrance to take people back to the city. recommend show, its more relaxing instrumental music with some martial arts, singing etc.
