Fantastic 5.0
This is my fourth stay here, and it's truly our favorite staycation spot because it has a kitchen, haha. My husband prefers to cook our meals. It really feels like home, almost like having a rest house that's a condo unit. 💖 The staff are incredibly kind too! 💖💯 My family also enjoyed their time here, even though some had to sneak out by 10 PM :)

Fantastic 5.0
Had a great stay at Hop Inn Hotel Makati Avenue — the hotel was clean, comfortable, and very affordable for its excellent location in Makati. The room had everything I needed, including strong air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, and a comfortable bed, while the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. It’s also conveniently close to restaurants, cafés, convenience stores, and nightlife spots, making it a perfect choice for travelers looking for a practical and budget-friendly stay in the city.

Good value for money. cheaper than booking directly from the hotel. loved that the hotel uses bottles and refillable water instead of regular plastic bottles for water. loved the breakfast buffet options as well. right amount of variety.

Fantastic 5.0
Loved my stay here! Stayed in a 4-bunk dorm and the room was surprisingly spacious, with big, comfy beds. Cleanliness was top-notch—from rooms to bathrooms to hallways. Huge plus that you can request daily towel and sheet changes for free. Staff and guards were all friendly and welcoming, and the lobby felt open and not stuffy. Never got bored with all the activities—board games, arcade, billiards, beer pong, plus free games with prizes. Breakfast buffet is only ₱300 and totally worth it. They also have a restaurant, rooftop bar, lounge areas, Skype booth, conference room, and even an ATM in the lobby. Only downside: elevators can be slow since there are only two serving up to the 13th floor. Overall, great value and fun stay—would definitely come back!

Fantastic 5.0
1. Parking: Plenty of parking spaces for guests. Free parking once checked in; additional free parking for 2 hours after checking out. 2. Room: We were surprised that our room was upraged from a Superior Room to a Deluxe Room for free. A complimentary birthday cake was delivered to the room. 3. Buffet breakfast (Cafe 1228): Plenty of food choices. The food was good, however, some dishes are cold. Suggestion: food warmer. 4. Restaurants (The Lounge and Jasmine): Great food and service. There was an issue with the airconditioning system in The Lounge when we had our lunch. They explained it and seated us near an air cooler. 5. Rescue Bar (by the pool): Great pizza and drinks. Great service as well. 6. Pool area: The pool was clean. The attendants were accommodating. Even though it was raining a bit and the weather was cold, the pool was still warm. A 5-star hotel giving a 5-star quality service.

More about Makati hotels

What to expect when staying in Makati

Stays in Makati span a wide price range — roughly 5.6 times from the most affordable to the top-tier nightly rates — so you can choose anything from very budget rooms up to noticeably pricier luxury options. The sweet spot for value sits in the premium tier, which balances comfort and cost better than the cheaper or most expensive classes.

How the hotel classes compare and who they suit

Economy rooms sit at the lowest end and are clearly the budget choice compared with the rest, suited to travellers prioritising low nightly cost. Standard properties step up modestly from economy and are a middle-ground option for straightforward stays. The premium tier, the best-value category here, represents the most attractive balance before a big price jump: upgrading to premium gives noticeably more comfort for a moderate extra outlay. The largest financial leap comes when moving from premium to luxury, and that jump is where you should pause if cost is a concern — luxury is a distinct step up in nightly rates and targets travellers after a higher-end experience.

When travellers from the United States typically book

Makati’s priciest month is December while the cheapest month is July, and July generally suits budget-led trips when nightly rates are lower. Rooms here are often booked shortly before travel — typical bookings happen about 2 days ahead — so plans can remain flexible, though some travellers book earlier if travelling in December.
