Great facilities and staff could actually communicate in English! We managed to tag along an English group during the firefighter job. it was so good to understand every word from the beginning to the end. Staff were very patient and energetic. We happened to go in my daughter’s birthday month. Staff at different jobs would write on her birthday card. It was a sweet and special experience. Make sure you go early to get a number card for entry. The earlier you get in, the easier to secure jobs you like. We went for the 2nd session and my kids could experience 4 to 5 different jobs.
My recent visit to KidZania was incredibly rewarding, full of so many pleasant surprises that I'd give it a perfect 10! I believe every child should experience it, as it's a fantastic way to observe their interests and preferences for different professions through play. Almost every activity is incredibly engaging. We purchased tickets for the morning session and arrived around 8:45 AM to queue for entry. Upon entering, we downloaded the app, which was very helpful for checking the estimated wait times for each professional activity, allowing us to plan our time more efficiently. The first activity we wanted to try was making pizza. However, even though we arrived to queue at 8:45 AM, the only available pizza-making slot was at 12:40 PM. Knowing our first activity wouldn't start until 12:45 PM, we decided to try other games we were interested in first. Each game takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes, so our time wasn't wasted. My daughter's second choice was being a healthcare worker caring for babies. Afterward, she also tried being a cable worker, making masks, making soap, and even making Kobayashi fever patches. In total, she participated in six activities and was enthusiastic about every profession. She's already said she wants to come back again!
Fun experience for kids - staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help us. Although our child doesn’t speak any Japanese, he enjoyed it very much as most of the staff tried to accommodate him by speaking in English. The app for checking the availability of different jobs is really useful and is available in English.
This was my child's first time participating in this experience, and even though we had to wake up early for an 8:00 AM check-in, getting to try eight different activities was truly fantastic!
So much fun! The kids had a wonderful experience, and every staff member was incredibly patient and helpful. Even if you don't speak Japanese, you can still have a great time. We spent five hours there and tried five different professions.
Buying tickets through Klook and then using a coupon makes it cheaper. You can go directly to the counter to exchange for wristbands before entering. There weren't many children inside, so we didn't have to wait in line much to play, and the kids had a great time. The only downside is that the staff don't pay attention to you and only speak Japanese.
Even though my 4-year-old couldn't communicate verbally very well, they really enjoyed and were engaged in the experience. We woke up early and checked in around 8:30 AM. The entrance was designed like an airport check-in, which gave a dreamy feeling of taking off. It was really touching to see my child wearing a uniform and working for the first time. Our child experienced a total of 9 jobs, which was very fulfilling and also super tiring!
To enjoy your favorite activities, you must arrive half an hour early. You'll need to queue for check-in and entry, but playing all 7 activities in the first session was very satisfying!
