Yennaljip Charcoal Korean BBQ Restaurant in Hongik Univ. Station (Seat reservation not included)

Just ok for an experience. It’s kinda hard to find the place though. We past the restaurant and asked the ajhumma if that’s the place and she said no. But when we checked again, we are at the correct place. Food is good but not that great as compared to other bbq places we tried in Hongkik

The location of the restaurant is very convenient in the Hongdae area. Show the QR code and the owner will immediately arrange to seat you and deliver the meat. The klook roll is very useful. The charcoal grilled meat is delicious. The ribs are better than the pork belly.

The noodles are very thin but the atmosphere is very good. The waiters are nice although they don't speak the language but they understand the customers' requirements very well.

Nothing special about the pork, as maybe we expected more. Side dishes are also average. The restaurant is around Hongdae area. It was pretty busy street during the weekend, however the restaurant is not that crowded.

The food was delicious and the location in Hongdae was fun as it opens out on a trendy promenade. Westerners will experience true Korean culture around small charcoal tables with lots of delicious banchan.

The restaurant was located on the street and easy to find. I ordered samgyeopsal, which came with kimchi and soup in addition to the meat, but it was not enough for one person. I ordered rice porridge as an extra, but some customers were eating rice, so they may have brought it if I asked, but I'm not sure if it was free or if it was paid for. The food was delicious, and the restaurant was clean, which was good. The staff was not very friendly, but they were kind.

The meat grill is very delicious. The owner is enthusiastic. I bought it on the wrong day. Do arrive 1 day in advance and ask the shop owner to apply the voucher. Fortunately, the restaurant was empty so the owner agreed. The shop is a bit circular, but take exit number 8. Go past Oliver Young, turn left, then turn left and you'll get there.
