Buying klook ticket for foreigners are definitely more economical. Full price at the park is rmb220. For 65-69, it is half price. For 70 and above old people, it is free. The horse show for December 2025 was at 2:30pm. Other major shows are at 5pm and later. So, I think it is better to eat elsewhere (there are just basic noodle shops inside) and then come to the park before the horseman show. (i came before 11am and it is too early to wait all the way to the evening show...)
My experience at Splendid China Folk Village was excellent. Besides being able to take photos and check in at miniature versions of famous Chinese landmarks, I also enjoyed several high-quality song and dance stage shows. The performers' dazzling costumes, combined with the music and lighting, were truly breathtaking. The outdoor "Legend of the Desert" show was also spectacular.
The experience was good. I went to Window of the World in December, and this time I went to Splendid China which is not far away. Window of the World is more suitable for young people and those with children, with more animals, amusement rides and electronic music performances; Splendid China is more like visiting a revitalized ancient city market, where you can eat, buy and check in. There are many performances throughout the day, and the time overlaps, so it is impossible to visit all of them in one day. Moreover, the performances are concentrated in the Folk Village, and the miniature scenic area is on the other side. You can take photos during the day, and there are several large-scale performances that are must-sees. Come back to visit the market and take pictures of the lights at night, and it is another kind of scenery after the lights are turned on. There are many places to eat, including big restaurants, small shops, and even roadside stalls. Some are delicious and some are just so-so. I recommend the Ruzi beef offal, which is delicious and cooked in clear soup with just the right amount of flavor.
This was a day of immersion to Chinese culture. I was amazed with everything I experienced today. How I wish I can speak Chinese to fully understand the shows. Nevertheless, I love it. I can’t wait to share to my friends and family.
Convenience of booking with Klook: 5 stars Experience: We went on Easter and luckily there weren't many people, so entry was easy and we didn't have to queue. Unfortunately, it rained heavily in the morning, so we waited until the afternoon for the rain to stop before entering, which meant we missed out on a lot of activities. However, we did see 4 of the main shows, which was very satisfying. I'd love to go again next time. Price: 103
Visited this huge & interesting park with various miniatures of China attractions in the morning. Easy to purchase tickets via Klook onsite as it is slightly cheaper. For Seniors above 65, buy on site to enjoy discounted price. Need at least 3 hours to leisurely walk around & take pictures. Performance quite limited. Watch the horse show in the day..

Very good experience, you can spend the entire day strolling the parc, enjoying the food and the performances. It's quite large and well-organized by area so check the schedule in advance to know where to go around what time. The visuals are very high-level and the food really good value for money.
