VASARA Kimono and Yukata Rental in Nagoya

Our experience with VASARA Kimono Rental in Nagoya was exceptional. While this location had fewer yukata choices than I expected, the staff more than made up for it with their kindness, enthusiasm, and genuine care. I hoped to wear a red yukata to match my wife’s, but none were available. The staff went above and beyond, searching through unopened boxes until they found a maroon yukata with dragon designs. They paired it with a blue obi featuring a water pattern. They also dressed my wife and daughter beautifully, and transformed my son into a young samurai. Seeing our whole family dressed together was a highlight of our trip. Walking through Nagoya and visiting Nagoya Castle in yukata felt immersive and special. We received many friendly compliments and interactions along the way. The VASARA team didn’t just rent us clothing, they created a wonderful family memory we will cherish for years. I honestly thought this would just be a quick change of clothes….but it turned out to feel almost ceremonial. The beautiful staff took their time helping me choose which obi and accessories would best match my kimono, and I really appreciated how thoughtful the entire process was. They even did my hair beautifully. I loved it so much that I kept the hairstyle until night time. We wore our kimonos everywhere: to train stations, Nagoya Castle, shopping centers, and more. Even with the cold and windy weather, the kimono kept us surprisingly warm. We returned everything right on time at 5:30 p.m. after a full day of exploring. This was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. The staff were very sweet and kind, and I even found a co-ARMY 💜

Amazing assistance from the kimono experts, so patient and warm. I took the cheapest option available but the service was no less than premium! they even assisted with my hijab! beautiful kimonos to select and such an authentic experience. recommending to everyone I know! thanks ladies for all your hard work! The clothes have wide range to choose. The 2 lady staff were helpful as we dont know how to match the assessories and they suggested, which turn out pretty for us. They are also very polite when helping us to dressed up.

We used the first time slot, and the kindness and attentiveness of the staff member who assisted us were truly touching. However, it was a bit disappointing that the kimono sleeve length didn't fit very well for someone who is 170 cm tall. Also, it was a bit unfortunate that how nice the kimono looked depended heavily on the skill of the staff member helping with the dressing. For our younger child, the staff member meticulously adjusted everything from the undergarments to the waistline and styled the obi so beautifully and richly that she looked gorgeous all day long. Conversely, for our older child, who was helped by a different staff member, the obi lacked volume and the waistline kept slipping down, making the outfit look less appealing. Even so, it was an experience worth trying at least once, and overall satisfaction was very high.

The staff member was incredibly friendly and flexible in accommodating our requests. They even offered suggestions to enhance our experience, which I really appreciated. They treated me so naturally that I didn't even feel like a foreigner. The kimono was also clean and beautiful! Overall, it was a thoroughly satisfying experience, and I'm so glad I went. We were received very warmly. We ordered High Grade twice for M&W - kimonos/yukatas were presented to us according to our size, and we were then dressed. Everything went very professionally and I can recommend it to everyone!

We love the japanese style costume here. The staff are all helpful and friendly. Costume is a bit tight for men. But staff said it is japanese style. Japanese costume wont be too tight for kids,no worries

The location next to Nagoya Station is convenient and easy to access. There are many patterns and colors available for both the standard and premium kimonos, but you have to pay double the price for a high-end, solid-color garment. The service is attentive, and the value for money is good.

The staff were very friendly and gave very good service. The hair stylist did a wonderful with our hair. They were all very professional. Highly recommended.
