About Higashiyama Sky Tower
This is an observation tower attached to Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Chikusa Ward, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. It is 134 meters high. (The tower is atop an 80-meter hill, so its elevation is 214 meters.) It was built in 1989 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Nagoya City's establishment. The observation deck is 100 meters above ground (180 meters above sea level), and offers a panoramic view of the city. If the weather is good, you can see Mount Ontake and the Suzuka Mountains in the distance.
