redeeming the ticket was very easy, you just have to show them the qr code. they have luggage storage, you just need 1 euro coin that will be returned once you're done. I asked them to exchange coins and they happily assisted me. i love the big tank at the center. they also have many activities such as overnight sleeping at the aquarium, i wish i can do that next time. i enjoyed this activity a lot!
Using Klook to book was easy. Entry with the QR code was easy as well. There are potentially some discounts when you buy locally but not always the case, but pre-booking with Klook would be a great option if you want to organize everything ahead of time. Didn't see the penguins but the 2 sea otters were adorable. I would say there are less tanks and fish species compared to other major large aquariums, but still worth the money
Located in the first area of a modern building, the internal circulation is well planned, suitable for parents to take their children to visit, and it is a place for education and entertainment. It’s easily accessible when traveling alone, and watching the fish swim is very stress-relieving.
It's a bit far, but you can get there by bus in one ride. It was very hot that day, almost 40 degrees Celsius in the sun. Once inside the dojo, the air conditioning made it much better.
A fabulous half-day spent at the aquarium. There is lots to see, and the fish are very well looked after. We all enjoyed our family visit, highly recommended whilst in Lisbon.
We thoroughly enjoyed this. The Aquarium is world-class and has something for everyone. My babies had a time of their lives there. Would recommend it to everyone.
The place is very big. There are fish, penguins, starfish, corals, etc. It’s very cute.
The big aquarium was very relaxing! I sat on a chair and looked at it slowly. However, it was crowded even though it was a weekday. It wasn't that big, so I went alone and was able to look around in about an hour.

Guide

  • Immerse yourself in the wonders of the ocean as you explore the five-million-liter main tank and four additional habitats
  • Discover the Oceanario's unwavering commitment to conservation and environmental stewardship
  • Prepare to be amazed as you encounter over 8,000 mesmerizing sea creatures, including the elusive and rare sunfish

A visit to the Lisbon Oceanarium is a unique experience that allows you to see and feel the unforgettable magic of the underwater world. Embark on this contemplative journey to discover 8,000 marine creatures from 500 different species. The permanent exhibition (Aquarium) celebrates life on Earth with a central tank containing 5 million liters of saltwater, surrounded by four marine habitats representing the North Atlantic, the Antarctic, the Temperate Pacific, and the Tropical Indian Ocean, creating the illusion of a single tank and a single ocean. The visit unfolds over two levels—land and underwater—passing through the temperate, tropical, and cold waters of the planet’s various oceans. You can also discover the “Forests Underwater,” a work by master Takashi Amano that introduces us to tropical forests through the world’s largest “nature aquarium,” and the new “Submerged Universe” exhibition, an immersive journey into the vastness of the ocean
