Lisbon Pena Palace & Quinta da Regaleira Full-Day Tour

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful experience on the Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira tour. The whole day was well organized, and our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the trip. Pena Palace was absolutely beautiful, and Quinta da Regaleira was also a highlight, especially the gardens and the famous Initiation Well. The transportation was comfortable and made it much easier to visit everything in one day. There was quite a lot of walking and some steep areas, but it was definitely worth it. Overall, it was a great way to explore Sintra, and I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lisbon.

We had the best tour of Pena Palace and Quinta de Regalaria + the town center of Sintra. I have to say, our tour guide "J-Lo" was the icing on the cake of this incredible experience. He was so much fun and made it very easy to navigate. This was the perfect amount of time to spend in Sintra.

Amazing experience! Maria, our tour lead, was outstanding. She made sure we got the most out of Sintra—we had coffee and pastries at an amazing café, took a breezy walk up to Palácio da Quinta, and then she dropped us off at Pena Palace, where we enjoyed the surroundings before starting our tour. The pit stop at Guincho Beach was exciting—we experienced strong winds! Next, we went to Cascais, where Maria gave excellent lunch recommendations. We opted for a chicken dish, and omg, it was so, so good! We had plenty of time to explore Cascais and truly had an amazing day guided by Maria Alfama. Could not recommend her enough!

I had an amazing experience on this Sintra day tour, and I highly recommend our guide, Diago! He was incredibly enthusiastic throughout the entire trip. Not only did he manage the time perfectly, but his historical explanations of the Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira were also humorous and highly professional. Thanks to his great guiding, the whole itinerary was both fulfilling and fun. I definitely recommend joining Diago’s tour!

Joao was an amazing guide and equally amazing guy. He helped with all our questions, queries and little anecdotes about every place we visited. It was really a great experience, I would highly recommend if you want to fit Sintra and Cascais in one day and not feel rushed.

We joined a tour that didn't include tickets, but the driver was very thoughtful and allowed us to purchase tickets for Pena Palace Park ourselves. The overall schedule was very well-paced, giving us ample time to explore Pena Palace thoroughly. Afterward, we headed to the West Coast, and the driver provided excellent commentary throughout the journey. The entire itinerary was rich and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Rui was a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide. He was also skilled in driving while stating historical facts. The tour itself is highly recommended especially if you’re planning to visit Pena Palace as transportation and queue for tickets are quite a challenge. The view from Pena Palace could’ve been amazing and mesmerizing if it wasn’t for the fog otherwise it’s still worth a visit. Plus you get to visit Cascais and Cabo de Roca.

The itinerary was very rich and varied, and our tour guide, Ivo, was extremely professional and friendly. On the way to each attraction, he constantly explained Portuguese history to us, helping us understand more about the region. The only minor drawback was that the itinerary was so packed that it felt a bit rushed; otherwise, the arrangements were excellent. If you're interested in visiting Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira, I highly recommend this tour.

We are a family of 4 going on a day trip with our tour guide Catarina to Sintra and Cascais. it’s an enjoyable journey with beautiful scenery. Catarina gave us suggestions of where to go, what to do. The restaurant suggestion was really helpful, we had a great seafood meal at a reasonable price. she also gave us different information about Portugal and the area we visited, making the enjoy enjoyable, informative and interesting.

Diogo’s tour guide from Odyssey Tours of Sintra, Pena Palace, Regaleira and Cascais felt like a marathon through a fairytale with snacks missing. Sintra is basically “stairs disguised as romance,” but somehow worth every breathless step. Pena Palace looks like a king told a LEGO set to “go wild” with colours and views. Quinta da Regaleira is where you half expect a wizard to ask for directions out of a secret tunnel. Then Cascais arrives like a reward level: ocean breeze, chill streets, and suddenly your legs forgive Diogo again.
