What to expect
Come with us to discover Kyoto on a full-day walking tour. We begin at the Imperial Palace, former residence of the emperors until 1868, where centuries of imperial history come alive. We then visit Nijo Castle, symbol of samurai power and the Tokugawa shogunate, with its famous “nightingale floors” and elegant gardens. Lunch is at Nishiki Market, Kyoto’s culinary heart, before ending the day in Gion, Kyoto’s iconic traditional district. If we are lucky, we may glimpse a graceful geisha. This itinerary is indicative and fully customizable to your interests, preferences, and pace. History, culture, and gastronomy come together in one unforgettable day.
