Micro Pig Cafe Experience in Kyoto

What a unique experience! We got to snuggle baby mini pigs for an hour. There is a slight smell but the place is neat and tidy. Pigs climb on top of each other and fall asleep. You need to be able to sit on a pillow on the floor and sit cross legged or legs out while pigs snuggle on you. VERY steep and narrow stairs. But a unique experience

My daughter loved spending time with the pigs who were very cute and playful. the staff were excellent ensuring everyone got to enjoy the experience.

it’s my first time experiencing piglets as they will come to me for hug. unforgettable enjoyable moments. the staff is helpful and friendly.. and they offered to help us take photos and I get a mini photo with only a small cost of around 550 yen. it’s very suitable for family with kids and couples and friends too . it’s in Kyoto and will definitely enjoy

So much fun! I recommend going early in the morning like I did - I think I had approx 10-15 mins with the pigs by myself before other patrons joined. Very clean establishment.

Had an amazing 1 hour experience here where we got to cuddle with the pigs! They were all so well socialised and loved just sitting on your lap! I was lucky enough to have at least 2 pigs on my lap at all times, however there were times where other people had no pigs on them for a little while. The staff were lovely at encouraging the piggies to move around, but they did tend to have a mind of their own. I had an absolute blast here and would absolutely recommend it!!

The micro pigs were cute and delightful. They genuinely love to lay of humans laps and get stroked or scratched. They seemed happy and well cared for. The staff were helpful and polite. I was even allowed to borrow a phone charger as my phone battery was running low. I paid for a photo and pig bag souvenir to remember the experience. Highly recommended.

Super relaxing and fun experience. Recommended after a hectic day or being a tourist in Kyoto. Nice and simple, check in and you get taken upstairs. No language problems as they've got instructions in English and the staff are very friendly

Definitely a place to go to if you’re in Kyoto. a worthwhile experience that allows you to destress yourself by playing with these innocent creatures. Value for money.

look, it was a very “unique” experience. Not sure what I was expecting. Maybe a cafe with pigs running around your feet? but literally it’s you sitting on the floor while they sit on you (sleeping or chewing). My little girl didn’t quite like it, the excessive chewing means these pigs build up saliva. They do poo and wee around you too (accidentally - they are toilet trained to one area) and chew on the blankets they give you to put over your lap. (not washed in between sessions). My husband and MIL who are absolutely animal lovers loved the experience.

The staff can communicate in simple English, introducing the pig's name and age. You can enter with a QR code and also receive a postcard without waiting. I also paid an extra 2200 yen for a photo with the pig. The staff hand-wrote and drew on it. It would be better if Mi pig had a photo frame with a logo.
