our very kind English speaking tour guide Joonie gave my son and myself a wonderful, very interesting tour. she gave interesting insight on the Blue House and made the tour extremely special. I noticed that while she was talking other people were listening because she was so interesting. I am so glad that I took this tour!

Our guide, Joonie had lots of interesting stories to share during the 1.5 hour tour of the blue house. She was organised and clearly explained the itinerary at the start and gave us sufficient time to take photos. It was great that we were pre-registered for entry and could enter immediately without queuing. An interesting place to visit since it just opened to the public in 2022. It had a beautiful garden with nice autumn foliage even in mid to late november.

Although Cheong Wa Dae is free to enter, a tour guide is required for the first visit to truly understand the process of Korean modern history. Especially this time, the tour guide - Miss Dugu (yes, there are people with compound surnames in Korea) is very kind and clear in explaining. The modern history of Cheong Wa Dae allows everyone to understand these processes in a simple way. Well worth the trip. Like 👍!

Joonie was such a great tour guide. She shared historical knowledge of not only the Blue House but also of Korea. She also took wonderful photos. I would strongly consider taking another tour with Joonie.

You can visit the National Guest House, Blue House and the Presidential Residence. Currently, the President no longer works or lives in the Blue House. The tour guide explains clearly in Chinese and is very suitable for tourists who want to listen to the explanation.
