What to expect
Muay Thai is an extreme form of boxing that utilizes the feet, elbows, and knees, making it arguably more complex compared to its Western counterpart. The best way to experience this is to be as close to the fight as possible so that you can really feel the excitement. With Ringside ticket, you’ll be at the very front experiencing all the thrills. Observe the boxers as they show off their skills and techniques, which took years to master, as you can take a photo with the boxer.

This was my first live Muay Thai match, and I found it incredibly exciting. The atmosphere was fantastic, and seeing the fighters give their all was truly thrilling. I highly recommend coming to see it at least once; you'll fall in love with Muay Thai!
It was very interesting to see the ring and fights live. The traditions of Thai boxing were noteworthy: 1) performing a dance before the fight 2) walking around the ring and praying at each corner 3) I think they rub themselves with something special, because the hall smelled of some herbal balms 4) I really liked that they respect the opponent in any case and at the end apologize and hug each other, also the opponent's coach gives water, it was nice
You can first go to the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar across from the venue to eat, then slowly make your way in to watch the show. General admission tickets offer a wider view than VIP, and there are many exciting matches. The only downsides are that sitting on the high stands can be tiring, and the restrooms outside cost an additional 10 THB.
Great show, nice atmosphere. It was a pretty good experience, worth seeing. We had regular seats. Although it said the show started at 9:00 PM, people started entering around 8:45 PM. The earlier you arrive, the higher up you can sit in the stands (but there are no steps, it's all one level with the seats, which makes going to the restroom or buying drinks/alcohol a bit inconvenient). The actual performance started at 9:00 PM.
It is very convenient to buy tickets on the platform, you can use them immediately after purchase, and it is cheaper than the on-site price. The venue is in the night market, you can also go out to buy food, and then go back to continue watching. It is a very local experience, recommended!
The gymnasium was easy to find since its located at the night bazzar in Kalare. If you looking to grab a bite before the fights they have a lot of food stalls across the street. Its also easy to exchange your reservation voucher to tickets since they have a designated desk for it. At first we were not expecting a lot of people would watch the fights but then to our suprise no empty seats were left when it started. It was intense and really cool to see the brave fighters step in the ring and make a name for themselves. Definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for an activity to do while in Chiang Mai.
The experience of landing powerful punches, and the moment of a knockout, was truly as shocking as in the movies, seeing them fall straight down. A great experience.
The competition location is in a bustling night market area. After visiting the night market, you can conveniently watch the boxing match. The finals were also very exciting! The atmosphere was excellent!
Aside from the fact that there were a few too many matches (seven in one night) which made it hard to concentrate for that long, it was a wonderful experience. Seeing the various ritual dances performed by the athletes before the start of the competition felt very solemn. @whatdoreenwear
The Muay Thai fight was really fun and went late, but I watched it until the end! You could come and go as you pleased, and since I had a ringside seat, there was a table and no problem bringing in food and drinks. The only downside was that I was supposed to get a free T-shirt as a perk, but I didn't... That's a shame.
