Review for: Seoraksan National Park & Nami Island Full-Day Tour

During a recent trip to Seoraksan National Park and Naminara with my sister-in-law, our tour guide, Robert, made the experience truly wonderful. With only 6 people in the group, Robert not only guided us but also drove the van, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable journey. He was attentive and cheerful, taking the time to understand our personal interests. During our 3 hours at Seoraksan, he offered tailored suggestions—whether we wanted to hike, ride the cable car for scenic views, or explore waterfalls and temples. His local food recommendations also greatly enhanced the trip. At the Hongcheon rest area, he pointed us to delicious walnut cakes filled with red bean paste, and before entering Naminara, he introduced us to dakgalbi, a spicy stir-fried chicken dish that is a local specialty. Robert is also a skilled photographer, capturing memorable moments for us. Overall, Robert is a gem, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an unforgettable tour experience.

Review for: Mt. Seorak + Nami Island

fantastic tour led by JK. we had just 9 of us so he drove us as well in the small van. excellent preparation and outlining of options at Mt Seorak so we could get out of it what we wanted. At Nami Island the rest went by ferry and I went via the zip line. highly recommend as great views and an enjoyable experience. takes about 90 seconds so plenty of time to enjoy. I am somewhat afraid of heights but this didn’t bother me at all. if you only visit Nami Island once taking the zip line is worth it for the memories.

Charlie was so so lovely and the day was seamless! Recommend investing in doing it this way as all the transportation being taken care of made the day so hassle free! We were lucky enough to get snow <3

it was a wonderful experience - loved that it wasn’t rushed and you got time to enjoy yourself at both places - the tour guide was also very good. Speaks three languages and gave us plenty of information. I loved it. I paid extra and took the cable car up it’s a long walk so best to take the cable car to get the views.

Jiwon is an excellent guide with a wealth of information. We absolutely loved this tour — it was so enjoyable, especially with her insightful commentary as we passed different areas on the bus. Now I even know where BTS and G-Dragon live! We also tried the food she recommended and were very happy with it.

Review for: Mt. Seorak + Nami Island

Our guide was a Korean named David. He was very kind, and to entertain us, we played a game in the car at the rest area where we could win Korean walnut snacks if we guessed the Korean language. When we arrived at the tourist spots, he told us about famous places, famous shops, recommended hiking courses, etc. based on the overall map. He also took pictures in front of the tourist attractions, which was very nice. I was the only one who participated alone, but he made it fun. I am very grateful to him. At Seoraksan, there was only a little snow left on the mountain, but the scenery was very beautiful, and there was also the beauty of the rocks and the beauty of the coexistence of Buddhism and nature. It is a beautiful national park that heals the soul. Next, we went to Nami Island by boat, and I still can't forget the beauty of the people going to the island on the zip line next to me while on the boat, the beauty of the scenery surrounded by nature, and the beauty of walking along the well-maintained tall tree-lined path after arriving. The scenery was so beautiful. I recommend you to visit it.

good to experience the 2 locations if you only have 1 day available for both, although a little tiring because of the long bus rides. since it was very windy at Seoraksan, the cable car wasn’t open but the hike to biseondae was nice instead. at Nami island, the snow was melting so many areas were muddy and there were not much activities available like duck boats and bicycles. otherwise, the tour guide named Reese warned us in advance of the limited food options at seoraksan and gave a nice recommendation for lunch near the Nami area instead.
