Review for: Mt. Seorak + Nami Island

Just like Japan they are very punctual. Meeting place was in dongdaemun. absolutely love it!! i think this was the best tour that i participated in Korea. Thanks to our guide Sander-nim! He is professional and gives little trivias about each places that he passes by while driving. Although it seems we aren’t listening coz it hard to hear when you’re at the back of the car😄 love the car with charging port so no need to worry can charge while on the road. Mt.Seorak really satisfied the white wonderland i’ve dreamed of. Sooo much snow!! plus we had an encounter with wild deer. how amazing. Then, Nami island was a sight even in winter. we rented a bike and tour the whole island and we had it all to ourselves because we were there early. I’d really advise you rent one because you won’t be able to circle it with the allotted time. We were also given free duty free shopping vouchers!! 10/10💕

Review for: Seoraksan National Park & Nami Island Full-Day Tour

During a recent trip to Seoraksan National Park and Naminara with my sister-in-law, our tour guide, Robert, made the experience truly wonderful. With only 6 people in the group, Robert not only guided us but also drove the van, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable journey. He was attentive and cheerful, taking the time to understand our personal interests. During our 3 hours at Seoraksan, he offered tailored suggestions—whether we wanted to hike, ride the cable car for scenic views, or explore waterfalls and temples. His local food recommendations also greatly enhanced the trip. At the Hongcheon rest area, he pointed us to delicious walnut cakes filled with red bean paste, and before entering Naminara, he introduced us to dakgalbi, a spicy stir-fried chicken dish that is a local specialty. Robert is also a skilled photographer, capturing memorable moments for us. Overall, Robert is a gem, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an unforgettable tour experience.

fantastic tour led by JK. we had just 9 of us so he drove us as well in the small van. excellent preparation and outlining of options at Mt Seorak so we could get out of it what we wanted. At Nami Island the rest went by ferry and I went via the zip line. highly recommend as great views and an enjoyable experience. takes about 90 seconds so plenty of time to enjoy. I am somewhat afraid of heights but this didn’t bother me at all. if you only visit Nami Island once taking the zip line is worth it for the memories.

Review for: Seoraksan National Park & Nami Island Full-Day Tour

Today, I was lucky to have an excellent guide, Kim. He confirmed the pickup location the day before our departure and was punctual the next day. During the drive, he explained the day's itinerary and Korean history, and he was flexible in arranging activities. In the morning, he took us to Nami Island. Since there were fewer tourists, I almost thought Nami Island wasn't a popular tourist spot. I spent 10 minutes at the 'Winter Sonata first kiss' spot, and I was the only one taking photos. For lunch, Kim took us to eat delicious Dakgalbi (spicy stir-fried chicken). Since I was alone, there was even a single-person set menu option, which was very tasty and included fresh lettuce. In the afternoon, we drove to Seoraksan, which allowed for a perfect two-hour nap. At Seoraksan, the guide also offered advice for different mountain trails. I, being alone, hiked the more challenging Route 4. Overlooking Seoraksan from the summit, I felt the trip was absolutely worthwhile. What made it even luckier was having four wonderful group members to share all the day's activities with! I highly recommend this tour! You can join with complete peace of mind.

Review for: Mt. Seorak + Nami Island

Our guide was a Korean named David. He was very kind, and to entertain us, we played a game in the car at the rest area where we could win Korean walnut snacks if we guessed the Korean language. When we arrived at the tourist spots, he told us about famous places, famous shops, recommended hiking courses, etc. based on the overall map. He also took pictures in front of the tourist attractions, which was very nice. I was the only one who participated alone, but he made it fun. I am very grateful to him. At Seoraksan, there was only a little snow left on the mountain, but the scenery was very beautiful, and there was also the beauty of the rocks and the beauty of the coexistence of Buddhism and nature. It is a beautiful national park that heals the soul. Next, we went to Nami Island by boat, and I still can't forget the beauty of the people going to the island on the zip line next to me while on the boat, the beauty of the scenery surrounded by nature, and the beauty of walking along the well-maintained tall tree-lined path after arriving. The scenery was so beautiful. I recommend you to visit it.

Review for: Mt. Seorak + Nami Island

We were super lucky on this day. We were shocked by the scenery of falling snow in Seoraksan Mountain. In the world wrapped in silver, time seemed to stand still. When we arrived at Nami Island in the afternoon, we missed the crowds. Although there was no snow or leaves, it was still beautiful. With the sunset over the river, you can still capture the atmosphere of a winter love song. The tour guide, Ms. Shanmei, is super professional. She is considerate and responsible throughout the entire process. She gives suggestions without being pushy. This is the best enjoyment for a one-day tour! The car is also a nanny-level luxury car. I have to give the driver a big thumbs up. It is fast and stable. Even when driving in wind and snow, it is safe and secure! (I got off the bus last, and Miss Shanmei even accompanied me to the supermarket to buy strawberries. Thank you very much!)

good to experience the 2 locations if you only have 1 day available for both, although a little tiring because of the long bus rides. since it was very windy at Seoraksan, the cable car wasn’t open but the hike to biseondae was nice instead. at Nami island, the snow was melting so many areas were muddy and there were not much activities available like duck boats and bicycles. otherwise, the tour guide named Reese warned us in advance of the limited food options at seoraksan and gave a nice recommendation for lunch near the Nami area instead.

it was a great experience with Ktour Tour guide Tino, he has given many information and good recommendations about the tour destinations! We went to Nami Island first in the morning, rent a bike and cycle around the island taking nice pictures, then we went to Seoraksan National Park and took the cable car, and climb to see Biryongpokpo Falls within the 3 hours allocated time given, weather was nice and cool, air was very fresh.. it was a great experience with Ktour will recommend others to try this Ktour with Tino!

Pick up point was easy to find, proper instructions was given to find it. The guide, Bita, was friendly and able to converse in both English & Mandarin which helps the different groups to understand the instructions. I think she altered the itinerary order which helped us to prevent the crowds. Didn’t encounter any major queues at both sites. Bita provided the routes for Mt Seorak which helps as I didn’t know there was so many options. Overall, an enjoyable & recommended trip.
