Mt. Seorak National Park Autumn Foliage One Day Tour from Seoul

thanks Mr Han for the awesome photos and for going around the bus asking if we hv any qns for the trails at Seoraksan. the advice & time needed for each place provided helped me plan which one i shld go for, given the limited amt of time we had. wish that we could hv more time to explore, but the hike to cave was nonetheless great! would like to go back again to try other trails :)

Had a good time in Seoraksan despite the heavy rain. It’s basically a shuttle bus from Seoul straight to Seoraksan, the hours are super early but it’s the only way you can spent enough time in Seoraksan — we get about 5 hours to explore on our own. A map of the hiking trails in Seoraksan are included by the guide and we are free to explore on our own. Seoraksan area is quite straightforward and they have made it very foreigner friendly, including the restaurants and cafes there. For foreigners who would like to hike Seoraksan, the trip is a good shortcut to go there directly. Although please ensure to check the weather forecast and ensure that you wear proper hiking boots, and avoid rainy weather (very slippery).

Our tour guide Mini was very good at leading the group. We lined up for the cable car ticket on time, we only waited about 5 minutes. He was happy to answer all our questions. Thank you for the experience.

The trip was very well organised and we were qutie lukcy that the weather was awesome. The sunlight did make the colour pop out more in your photos. If you are as fit as my neighbour -- she managed to cover 3 trails. What made the experience even better was our tour guide David Oh. He was super friendly and helpful. Well communicated via the group chat and David has shared a lot of good tips about visiting and eating in Seoul. Thanks David.

Beautiful park was definitely worth the trip. Please note that Seoraksan National Park is about 3 hours away from Seouls hence you will spend more time in the bus (6 hours) than in park (5.5 hours) 😊 Sandy, our tour guide made use of the travel time to explain 5 possible places to visit within the park and approximately how long each will take including the hike/trek to the place and the picture taking along and when you reached. It was fairly accurate and we were able to decide which place to visit based on the time we will have in the park itself. Note that this is a free and easy type of tour to accommodate different interests and levels of fitness. A very good package 👍🏼

It was a great experience, with an awesome view once you have reached the top of Mt. Seorak is exemplary. Out tour guide shine is also helpful and knowledgeable.

Autumn is the best season to hike & experience the fall foliage. The tour starts early morning & we reached around 10.30am. The views were breathtaking, clouds amid the mountains with a spectacular view of the tallest waterfall of Korea right from the base . If you want to ride the cable car, it’s super busy on weekends so we opted for a waterfall hike which was medium level difficulty. There are many restaurants for eating at the base . Please wear proper hiking shoes and wrap yourself with warm clothing as it gets very cold on mountain .

The tour was really nice. Sandy, our tour guide provided tips on which way to go to the mountain to experience the beauty of it. The leaves were not much orange and red for the whole mountain but was still good to see on our first day tour here in Korea in Autumn season.

Although it was a long bus journey (3 hours each way), the amazing views were well worth it! The pictures don't do it justice. There are several walking trails our guide recommended us to take based on time and difficulty level. Although we visited in early autumn and most foilage was still green, the views were still spectacular. Definitely a must-go if you like seeing scenary and nature, autumn time will be the best time to visit.
