Reviews
Very good experience. We participated in different activities in many areas we visited. In this area, we chose the mangrove canoe activity. In other areas, there are too many people, the quality of the activity has declined, and even the toilet has to be charged. Here, It is very clean and the quality of the activities is very good. Only 8 of us participated in the entire mangrove reserve. The tour guide is very professional. I also went to a small island to visit the bat cave, and also explained the history of geology. The ecological environment. The final download We went to an uninhabited island and swam freely. We ate at a sea hut at noon, which was very delicious. The environment was very clean. We also enjoyed a quiet lunch alone. There were no other tourists. This activity is highly recommended. Only one complaint is for Klook, this registration is the day before the registration, and I received the participation voucher on the day of registration. However, I did not receive the notification of Klook’s pre-participation reminder (other activity registrations have been received). On the day of the collection, we went by ourselves, and the responsible tour guide did not know us. I wanted to participate, but it was resolved after communication. Fortunately, I also participated in the itinerary smoothly.
Highly recommended tour and a must-try if you’re in Langkawi. The whole experience was really enjoyable, especially the kayaking was super fun being out in nature and very peaceful. Seeing the mangroves up close was amazing and something you don’t get to experience every day. Our guide, Jien, was amazing, very patient and had great knowledge, which made the tour even more interesting. The views were absolutely stunning, and the food was a real highlight as well - everything was delicious. Overall, it was a truly memorable experience, and having Jien as our guide made it even better. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Langkawi.
Instructors: We want to share our great thanks for your outstanding guiding tour. Our tour guides Rhodi and Jien's competence was perceived as extremely professional. They're amazing guides who have a great knowledge of the environment we were touring, and guided us properly all over the entire adventure. Foods were amazing in the middle of nowhere on a floating restaurant - thank's to the chef! It was a fun experience and the highlight of our 10day Langkawi Adventure tour.
The paddling experience was very good. I started paddling from the beginning and padded through the entire mangrove forest, and then rowed to another meeting point. I padded non-stop for more than an hour. At the end of the trip, there was a small island where you could swim and have lunch.
A pleasant kayaking tour followed by a delicious Malay lunch. You can get close to the mangroves in the 1/2/3 person kayak. Two staff in kayaks were there to guide the participants. A motorised safety boat follows you. Overall, a nice little workout in a scenic setting. But it can get hot..so prepare accordingly.
The guide together with the boatman gave us a very good experience at the mangrove area. They spotted a snake nestling on a tree and drove the boat near it to let us observe it. I did appreciate that our tour didn’t prepare us to feed the monkeys and eagles like others do. Responsible operator! We learned a lot about the importance of mangroves and about environmental conservation. Highly recommended especially for families with kids.
There was a little bit of mishaps during the tour as it seems that the tour guide is only expecting 2 people but turns out we also have another couple with us. So a total of 4 for that day. Anyways, regardless of that, the tour is great. It was also raining when we started kayaking which gives a more adventurous feel -- me and my partner enjoyed it actually. Haha. Felt like in a movie. Lol. After reaching the deck to visit the cave, the rain stops too. Jump-off point going to the cave is like 10 minutes walk. We saw fossils of oysters and shells which is hundred of years old. The bat cave is pitch black that even the flashlight of the phone wont help. Its a bit scary but it is indeed amazing. After the mangrove tool, we headed for our lunch. They served us a local dish which we really loved!! After the lunch, we visited a hidden natural pool/mini-waterfalls somewhere in Teluk Datai area. Overall, we loved this tour and it is a good experience.
Mangrove kayaking is a lot of fun. You don’t see crabs and mudskippers in the mangrove forests, but Shuizheng in the middle. The team leader and instructor gave a detailed introduction, and he had a better understanding of mangroves. For lunch, the dishes of the local residential houses are fresh and delicious. After the meal, the team leader took everyone to a secret place to dive and swim together. The whole journey was fun, but it was a bit tricky for novices.
def an activity that you should try if you want to avoid the crowd. had fun kayaking all over the area, quite tiring but the view is so breathtaking eventho i relate it a bit like jurassic park movie! hahaha the instructor was good too!! and lunch prepared was marvelous. would recommend if you want to do something that is out of big crowd.
Must join this tour! Great experience. On that day, only two of us in the tour, just like private tour. Need to bring own towel and mineral water. First, we have the kayaking for 1.5 hours. Kayaking starting point and ending point is the same location. Then we drive our own car to another location for lunch (around 3 minutes away from the kayaking area). Delicious Malay homecook lunch. After lunch, continue to drive 20 minutes car to reach another location (the jungle in The Datai hotel area) for jungle trekking and hidden pool. This jungle area is belong to private area of The Datai. Jungle trekking for 15 minutes and reached the pool. The pool water is very clear and cold, we able to see the fishes. Suggest to wear aqua shoes as there are rocks in the pool. The tour end after trekking out to the Jungle. Strongly recommend to drive own car to join this tour as you need drive to lunch and jungle trekking area.
