Reviews
There were a total of 9 people in the group this time, from all over the world. It was a great exchange. The tour guide is Booncharoen Thongyou. He is kind and patient in answering questions. He is full of emotional value. It is a great trip. The following are a few things you need to pay attention to when booking your itinerary to have a better experience: 1) English/Thai guide, you must have a certain understanding of English proper nouns. 2) The tour mainly explains the culture of Thailand’s main temples, so it would be better if you do some homework before traveling. 3) Temple tickets will increase in 2024. The three main guided temples are 50-20-50 yuan. Prepare change if possible. 4) Girls need to wear clothing that can cover their shoulders and knees; it is best to wear slippers for easy putting on and taking off.
A must book itinerary. The tour is very interesting and you will surely learn lots of things about their culture, history, and architecture. Our guide, Sunny is very accommodating and informative, we learn a lot of information from her, plus she took great photos and also recommended a good place where they sell delicious traditional northern thai food. Chang Mai is such a gem!
What made this tour truly special was our guide, E. He gave us a personal and insightful overview of Thai culture and Buddhism, sharing detailed stories and curiosities about each site we visited. His passion and knowledge brought everything to life, making the experience unforgettable. I’ve never met such kind and gentle people, highly recommended!
This was by far the best tour I’ve ever been on in Chiang Mai, and that’s all thanks to Mr. Boon, our incredible tour guide. His passion for his work really shone through as he explained the rich history and significance of each temple we visited. No question was too small or silly—he answered everything with such patience and knowledge. As the only female in the group, I really appreciated Mr. Boon’s thoughtfulness. There was one shrine I couldn’t enter due to gender restrictions, but he took the time to explain all the details for me from the outside, ensuring I still had the full experience. His dedication and consideration truly made this tour special.
really good tour guide. I was the only one who signed up for the tour just 3-4 hours before the tour starts on the day and the tour guide was early, very attentive, provided detailed explanation on the 3-4 temples as we walked around and shared customs and traditions of chiangmai. the tour guide was very friendly and speaks good English. it was an overall pleasant experience as I get to know chiangmai, temples and buddhist traditions a little better.
Although we were a little late due to traffic, the tour guide was very kind and waited for us to start the tour. The weather was very hot, and visiting three temples was quite tiring, but the guide explained a lot of history, and we learned a great deal.
wassana was a wondeful and welcoming guide, showed us 3 beautiful temples in chiang mai, told us about the history, walked with us between all temples. she is truly a wonderful guide. thank you wassana🙏🏻🙏🏻
My guide Nana was such a gem!! She is super knowledgeable and humorous. Very animated with her stories. Our tour started off with Nana offering us fresh coconut (even with spoon!!). She would offer to take photos for us at the various locations too. Highly recommend everyone to hangout with Nana, thank you so much!
This was the first tour I attented in Chiang Mai and it was so worth it! Our tour guide Sunny was knowledgeable, friendly and very attentive. We were a total of 7 in the group from all over the world. We learned a lot about the history behind each temple, which made the visit to the Old City even more special and meaningful. Highly recommended! 💗
After confirming that the reservation is successful, TripGuru will send the information of the Guide. It is recommended to contact the guide first to confirm whether it is a direct gathering on the day or the tour guide who can provide pick-up on the day is Thiparpa Sutthasanon. Mai’s love, I learned a lot about Lanna Kingdom and Chiang Mai’s culture with her during the two-hour tour. Because the whole tour will go in and out of various temples in the ancient city of Chiang Mai, it is recommended to wear clothes that are easy to wear and take off on the day. Shoes, and people who respect the local dress code and like to see historical sites and understand local history and culture should not miss it
