Reviews
The arrangement of the transportation car and the explanation of the tour guide on the car are excellent
The tour guide is hardworking and professional, and the itinerary arrangement just makes up for the shortcomings of using public transportation for passengers without transportation.
I chose this tour as I had limited time in Kyoto and wanted to hit all the hotspots in a short time. I had been to Kyoto before and was just hoping to see the destinations again briefly however for a first timer it may feel a bit rushed. It was a very large tour group so it was hard to hear the tour guide who was speaking from the front of the bus through a microphone. Overall I would recommend for someone that has limited time in Kyoto and wants a easy way to get to these three hotspots.
We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide was a very friendly, sunny young lady who was informative and very enjoyable. My only warning is to leave early to find the bus if the pickup is Kyoto station. Kyoto station has one of the most obnoxious layouts I've ever seen. We were staying on the opposite side of the station from the bus pickup and nearly missed the tour as we finally found it with a minute to spare. But the tour itself was great.
We didn’t aware of 2 attractions were the same with the previous full day tour we booked. But the duplication of attractions that gave us time to explore what we didn’t previously and enjoyed food at a local restaurant. And the last attraction Arashiyama was new to us, we liked it a lot and could stay as long as we wanted because we were given the train tickets to return to Kyoto station while the bus was taking the full day tour group of people back to their destinations. The 1/2 day tour is one of great options to see the attractions!
To get around in Kyoto is to join the Bus Tour. With kids, you need to set a time so they will follow it and won’t be complaining during the tour. We visited the popular and mostly visited places in Kyoto. I enjoy the train ride going back to Tokyo station. They have the Kimono forest. Thank you Klook for the experience.
It is convenient from point to point, but the process is very fast because there is a little traffic jam. Of course, the scenic spots are beautiful without any suspense.

I applied here because the timing was good. There were 7 people on a company trip, so I asked if they could check in advance if they could put suitcases on the bus. Because of the traffic jam, I was told that I had to hand over my ticket and take the train back to Kyoto Station, so I had to rush to put my suitcase in a coin locker. After all, I felt that the explanation of online reservation was insufficient. Also, there are still many coin lockers at Kyoto Station that use coins, and I suddenly felt sick from the morning. Even after I left for the tour, the tour included ice cream, so I was told to follow the guide while eating the ice cream, but while I was buying the ice cream, the guide was no longer guiding another customer. I wanted you to tell me what you can do without telling me what you can't do.
Tour guide was engaging and provided helpful tips to make our experience great. Highly recommend this half day tour.
