The food was delicious, variety of choices was adequate. Sometimes you don’t need that many choices in a buffet and I thought The Lounge was spot on with the selection. The steak, teppanyaki and cooked Chinese food such as unlimited flow of abalone, clam, and wonton was sublime. The long leg crab was of decent size and dessert offered were exquisite. Overall, the experience was fantastic!

My recent visit to The Lounge at the JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong for their afternoon tea buffet was a delightful surprise. The restaurant boasts high ceilings and iconic floor-to-ceiling windows, providing excellent natural light and a spacious, comfortable ambiance—perfect for a leisurely afternoon with friends. The food quality maintained Marriott's consistently high standards. Although it was afternoon tea, the savory selection was as impressive as a lunch spread: * **Hot Dishes & Cooked Food:** The signature freshly prepared wonton noodle soup had a sweet broth and firm, springy shrimp. The made-to-order teppanyaki meats and delicate dim sum were served piping hot, showing great attention to detail. * **Cold Seafood:** Fresh sashimi, salads, and various cold dishes were beautifully presented, and replenished quickly. * **Dessert Station:** The desserts were exquisitely crafted and perfectly sweet without being cloying. The chocolate desserts, ice cream, and classic English scones, paired with hot tea, were particularly excellent. The service staff were friendly and efficient in clearing tables. Considering the prime location of a five-star hotel and the extensive menu, the value for money is exceptional. It's an excellent choice for anyone looking to enjoy a refined and satisfying afternoon tea!

Staff provided us the requested window seat and it was so fun to watch the trams trundle past outside on a post-typhoon Saola afternoon, in the calm and tranquil lounge atmosphere. The savouries and sweet desserts were delicious and interesting with a summer seafood theme, though the scones were a little hard and cold when paired with the jam and clotted cream. Great value, overall. Would come again for another beautiful afternoon with friends.

The ambiance is more comfortable than the cafe upstairs, and the staff are very nice. Although there are no lobster, oysters, or scallop sashimi, and the selection isn't huge, it's definitely sufficient. For around $600, it offers great value for money. The snow crab legs are quite large, and there are Chinese abalone, ginger and scallion stir-fried crab, steamed prawns with garlic and vermicelli, and many varieties of chocolate desserts. However, there are very few choices for Häagen-Dazs ice cream.

overall experience: 5 stars, if you are in for the atmosphere and silver tray and array of food, highly recommended to come!

Our third visit there over the years. They changed up the menu since we last visited which was nice. Mostly Asian food, would be nice to see more western food though. Excellent quality and superb service.

For my friend's birthday, I wanted to go to the Marriott Hotel for a dinner buffet. The price of the buffet in the lobby is relatively cheap, so I chose to celebrate here. Salad/cheese/sushi/sashimi/hot plate/Chinese dim sum/Hainan chicken rice/spicy crab/sliced duck/roasted lamb rack/roasted beef/instant noodle stall/whole mini abalone/dessert counter... enough food We choose, but it is not much more than the food choices of the general hotel dinner buffet, which can be said to be quite satisfactory! There is no self-service tea bar, but each person includes a drink. At present, there are very few choices of buffet in the 5-star hotel for more than 500 yuan, and Marriott's products will not disappoint customers, and the food quality is also satisfactory. LobbyCafe has a high floor and a comfortable environment. You can see the night view of Admiralty from the large floor-to-ceiling glass windows. The waiters in the restaurant are diligent and polite, and the chefs at the food counters are friendly and will introduce the food👍🏻But the lady who answers the phone in the hotel responds to customer inquiries with a mechanical voice and a lack of patience. This is really disgusting!

The food tasted excellent, with dishes like teppanyaki beef cubes, grilled shrimp, pickled cabbage and fish, chilled crab, and chilled shrimp and mussels. However, the selection of dishes was quite limited, and drinks were not included, which was a bit disappointing. On the other hand, the staff provided excellent service, and spending $900 or more grants you 3 hours of free parking.

Seeing is believing? Be careful of strange "photo scams" popping up lately! You might arrive to find there are no lobsters, no huge oysters, no giant scoops of various ice creams, and no boxes of super desserts! My photos show the truth! The variety and quantity are limited!
