Easy to navigate the museum. they have information boards in English. They have manga available to read in various languages as well. If you enjoy reading manga you could be there for hours. If you don’t want to read manga and just explore the museum you can plan for easily 1-2 hours.

it wasn't exactly what I expected. the museum is set in a large old school building which in itself is quite interesting & some of the exhibits relate to the school & it's history. there are thousands of Manga which form a library for people to sit and read. there's one main room with information about the history of Manga. Probably best for those with some pre-existing Manga knowledge rather than a total beginner. Manga in all languages though which was very cool.

The cafe next to the museum serves lovely egg and cheese toast. The museum is very interesting and we learnt a lot about the history of manga.

You actually aren't allowed to take photos inside so you'll have to excuse my photos. An absolutely beautiful old school renovated into this manga museum. Highly recommend for all anime fans.

The museum is very nice. Has a lot of originals mangas in lots of languages. If you arrive early, you can schedule a portrait with an manga artist. Is very beautiful.

not much to do there but read manga and walk around. there is some cool exhibits about the building the museum is in which is an old primary school house and manga hall of fame but we were a bit bored after that. definitely worth it for the price which is very affordable and very relaxing to sit and read but I expected it to be more a museum but it felt more like a library. it was worth it to get a portrait drawn of you by a manga artist but the spots fill up very fast so go right when they open or get in like 30 minutes before opening.

just show qr code to the staff. a quaint old school repurposed into the museum. lots of manga to read freely and some themed exhibition to look around. you can draw, read, get painted by some pro artists there (for a fee). overall i spent only 2hrs there but with time to reading manga you like it might not be enough.

price: cheap service: great Ease of booking on Klook: very easy facilities: perfect for the genre experience: Being in a former school is a really nice idea. There are mangas EVERYWHERE and readers of all ages EVERYWHERE. I recommend this museum +++

The "Wall of Manga" filled with 50,000 books! You can read your favorite works!
In the "Manga Expo" corner, you can find translated versions of manga and comics from around the world.
In the main gallery on the second floor, there is a permanent exhibition where you can learn about the history of manga!
The museum store has about 3,000 manga and anime related goods.
Admission is free on November 25, Kansai Culture Day, and you can visit the museum without reservations..
