Gold Coast Surf Lessons

Had fun surfing in the Broadbeach. Our Coach Rohan and Jack were super friendly. Go ride a wave surfing operates in three different locations: Surfers paradise, Broadbeach, and Coolangata. If you want to book surfing lesson at Broadbeach, then you have to reach Kurrawa Surf center and wait in the parking lot.

Tickets can be purchased before noon one day in advance, after which they are unavailable. Klook's instructions were unclear, and I arrived late. The shop is located on the right side facing the beach, next to the KFC. Two male instructors accompanied us, providing wetsuits that cover the whole body to prevent sunburn, exposing only the face and feet. They first explained surfing, then we carried the boards to the beach ourselves. There were 9 of us in total (excluding the instructors). The instructors assisted each guest in getting on the board to surf, but only 3 people were occasionally successful. Children who are small, thin, and lightweight have an advantage. They gave a final talk and shared some tips before finishing!

The coach is very friendly and serious. The whole process is roughly like this: after gathering (dressing and wearing sunscreen), two people are led to the beach with surfboards. The teaching and explanation starts for about half an hour, and the rest of the time is free practice. The coach will come over for individual guidance 2-3 times. This time there are 3 coaches following, which is a good experience. You may not be able to bring your phone with you during the whole process because it will get wet while surfing. I hope the instructor can provide photo taking services, which will be an unforgettable experience.

This is my first time surfing. My instructor is Kal. He is very nice and gave me a lot of tips. I had a really great experience.

Friendly teachers and staffs. The session was very beginner friendly and we were well taken after.

Tommy and Taj was amazing. They were patient, never dismissed and always encouraging. despite a full class, they took their time to teach you personally in the waters. Highly recommended.

This was a great experience. The coaching team was very professional, with two coaches, one assistant coach, and a professional photographer. They explained each step in detail. It was a very pleasant surprise that we were able to ride the waves five times during the two-hour beginner's course. The price for the professional photography was also very reasonable, allowing us to keep wonderful memories.

Instructors were friendly and patiently taught us. Appreciate if there was a bit more individual coaching evenly, although understanding that it was a full class. Surfing can be quite physical but it’s so much fun.

It's super fun, the coach teaches very well, and although it's a group class, everyone is taken care of. There are two coaches accompanying us, but the surfboards are very heavy 😅 You have to carry two surfboards from the meeting point to the beach in groups of two, and the same is true for the return trip, but it's really super fun. You really have to experience it, you won't regret it.
