We had to go to a tour agency just opposite the museum to exchange for tickets. Our ticket included the special exhibition (which was chargeable by the museum). It is recommended to rent an audio guide as the descriptions plaque is rather limited. Overall, the museum is rather interesting on ShaanXi culture and history.

a bit troublesome to get ticket since the travel agency is across the road. spend at least 15 Minutes for that. but overall this museum worth visiting.

Got the tickets from a tour shop just opposite to the Museum. Although there were lots of people waiting in the tiny store, it only took about 15 mins to get them. Very convenient. Avoided the long queue. I highly recommend buying the tickets from klook if anyone plans to visit the Shaanxi Museum.

The museum is very large. There are 7 museums. It took only half a day to see only 3 of them. The ticket exchange location is an overseas tourist shop on the road opposite the South Gate. There is a small discrepancy in the name and volume.

An extensive historical and archaeological narrative of Shaanxi and the various dynasties that had once named Xi'An as their capitals. The Basic House comprises 3 halls displaying artifacts dating from the Laotian era (famous for the oldest excavated human remains) to the Qin and Tang dynasties, while the Jewel House exhibited exquisite pieces believed to be possessions of the Tang imperial palace.
It took me around 4 hours to complete the tour, skipping some of the exhibits so this is a place that can easily take the better half of a day if you are a particular history buff. If you go on a weekend, expect large crowds which will stretch. your visit
The wait for ticket collection took about 20 minutes.

The price of Treasure Hall is not too expensive, it is worth seeing! The basic hall is divided into four halls, and there are many people. It is recommended to go in the morning.

- The Shaanxi History Museum does not require entrance fees, but there may be a long queue. Participants who buy tickets for the Jewel House or Painted House do not have to wait in line
- Due to the heavy traffic of the Shaanxi History Museum during the summer holiday, Shaanxi History Museum will reduce the number of visitors at any time. If you cannot enter the park due to suspension, please be patient and follow the staff's guidance. Visiting the Shaanxi History Museum after 12:30pm is recommended
