ISOMARU SUISAN (磯丸水産) in Osaka - Popular Seafood Izakaya

The seafood is fresh and the portion of the set meal is sufficient. The only drawback is that the abalone with the meal is not in stock. It is one of the more expensive ingredients in the set meal. I ordered the upgraded set meal to eat abalone, but it was not provided. Looking at other people’s comments, they also mentioned that abalone is out of stock. Next time I go to Isota Fisheries, will I upgrade the set menu and order abalone at the restaurant?

I ordered abalone and was satisfied with the other food. I will try other branches next time I go to Japan.

The location is easy to find. When you come in and show your order, the clerk will tell you which drink you want (oolong tea or orange juice). Then he will serve you the whole process and bake it for you. You don’t have to say anything. It’s very convenient. The clerk, Ms. Onishi, is good at grilling and the ingredients are quite delicious.

There was no abalone on the day I was informed, so I only had two kinds of shellfish instead. I read in the comments that some people had the same experience, and it didn’t feel good. The seafood was also overcooked, which was a pity and I won’t go there next time.

The lovely lady did the cooking for us and she was able to speak English which helped. I always wanted to try this as seen it often on tv, so glad and thoroughly enjoyed it. Each type of shell fish was massive and succulent, the crab shell was delicious.

The staff need to pay more attention to their attitude and don't look bad because there are too many customers.

I visited the Isomaru Suisan Umeda Higashi branch again. The store arranged for three people to sit together in the morning. The staff will grill on your behalf and guide you on how to eat and order the sauce. The crab cap sauce is delicious and the portion is sufficient. I will come again next time.

It’s easy to use. Basically, just hold the QR CODE and the staff in the store will take the initiative to arrange everything for you. Apart from ordering drinks, there was basically no need to speak during the whole process.
