Shanghai City Sightseeing Bus

Very convenient. Just head to the main ticketing counter. there are two, and they’ll provide you with a QR-coded ticket that serves as your pass every time you hop on the bus. Only one physical ticket is issued per group (we were two people but received just one ticket), so you’ll need to stay together at all times. This is one of the easiest ways to explore Shanghai. We managed to visit all the major tourist spots in just one day because of this, making it a must try activity. They also provide in ear earphones that connect to an audio tour guide, along with a map for easy navigation. Buses run very frequently, so you won’t have to wait long before hopping on again.

We had difficulty in claiming the ticket because of the address pinned on the map, but nevertheless the experience was superb. We rode the bus at 12 nn, then explored the city. What a nice way to navigate the area with a hearing a background story.

The staff at all the stops were extremely helpful and made sure that we got on the correct bus! There are several tour bus operators to choose from, and I am happy that I selected Shanghai City Sightseeing Bus!

very good experience. the hop on hop off bus has air-conditioning. very pleasant to sightseeing the city. can go many places with this hop on hop off ticket. I suggest to give it a whole day to explore the city in the bus to get an idea where to go places by subway the next itenirary. as this ticket alone can ride many itenirary loops. just be cautious about the paper ticket as the ticket cannot be folded or wrinkled. if it cannot be read by bar code/q.r. code. it will be a hassle.

Traveled together with my husband and 2 kids was very affordable and easy way to get around Shanghai. Great value for money and was able to transfer to different lines. Use headphones for translations and very informative. We enjoyed it and would recommend.

Excellent visit full of discoveries in Shanghai. Shanghai's old town is superb as are its gardens. Lots of Chinese specialties and souvenirs. Shanghai is worth the trip, lots of purchases to make by haggling you will get good prices in the back shops!

Affordable way of exploring Shanghai in a day. The ride was comfortable although the traffic situation in Shanghai could be a little mean. It was easy to redeem the ticket and the location of their booth wasn't difficult to find.

Very convenient to get to the major attractions. Suggest to go for this on your first day in Shanghai and you can decide which attractions to visit again. We went to Yu Garden three times (!) as all the lines stop here. Xintiandi and the Gate Bridge are also our favorite stops. The night tour is amazing!

There are a lot of sightseeing bus tours operating in shanghai but I think this is the best one - lots of routes, very organized staff, bus comes at 20 to 30minute intervals. a pleasant surprise was the bus stop was located right across our hotel which is Radisson new world.

totally worth its cost. i got myself 2 day ticket and was able to see all of shanghai's iconic tourist attractions and destinations. no need to navigate as all the bus stops are strategically placed.
