Maiko Experience with Photoshoot in Japanese Garden

Fantastic experience! We felt very taken care for every step of the makeup, wig placement, kimono dress, photos and then the post care! Our photos came out amazing and we paid a little extra to get all the copies! would recommend to anyone who is considering this!

The makeup artists, kimono wardrobe assistants & photographer were amazing! it was so professional. it was quite an experience being consumed by the veil of makeup, the multiple layers of garments that the Geishas dress in. A ritual. we did not recognise ourselves. Only addition could have been more history/insights into the art & daily life of a Geisha.

It was a very meaningful time. I would like to thank Naomi-san for taking such great care of me, and I hope you have plenty of time. Makeup and kimono clothing are taken very carefully by professionals, and a professional photographer takes photos separately. They give you plenty of time to take photos, and the staff also helps you take personal photos. In addition to the printed photos, you can also take the data for an additional fee, so I recommend that you do it together. It was very good.

I truly enjoyed the experience, I went alone as I traveled with family and am the only girl. I recommend buying the full collection of photos as I think the best ones are usually not the offered ones. There was a bit of a language barrier as I was placed in a room and they stated 10 minute wait to get photos edited and I waited patiently. But there was a misunderstanding as they left me in a room to take as many photos or videos using props or areas as I wanted “free time” not just wait time… so my bad I feel I kinda missed out due to the miscommunication but not their fault.

Great experience. English speaking with hand gestures was great. Would only need to do this once as the photoshoot and photos at the end make for a fantastic souvenir. They also give you some free time to take photos.

Yukiko Takazawa was my make-up and hair stylist and she was great: incredibly nice, funny, attentive and helpful. She transformed me into a magical Maiko and helped me at the end, during the 10-minute time in which you can take photos independently, because I was not accompanied. The photographer was also very nice and told me exactly how to position myself. At the beginning I was allowed to choose my favorite positions and she helped me to implement them. The small Japanese garden where the photos are taken is beautiful and I am very satisfied with my photos. If you feel like looking like a Geiko/Maiko and having beautiful photos of it, you should definitely book the shooting. It's worth it! In the end, I was also able to remove my make-up on site with provided products and wash and blow-dry my colored hair. The service is great!

Amazing experience. Highly recommended! Everyone is super friendly. They take care of you for over 2 hours until you're completely made up, dressed, and photographed. You actually get to choose everything yourself, so you can implement your own wishes. They took a lot of pictures to make sure there were definitely some good ones. Because of the great quality, it's not just visited by tourists.
