Green Island Reef Cruise Full Day Guided Tour from Cairns

Green Island is very beautiful. You can simply circle the island in less than 2 kilometers. There is a chance to see turtles when snorkeling in the surrounding waters. The coral reefs are not bad. If you want to snorkel or dive, it is recommended to join the Great Barrier Reef tour. After going there, I personally think it’s okay to stay on the island, but I don’t recommend it. The flushing on the island is in the open air and not in individual compartments. You can only simply rinse with fresh water and then change clothes. There is a bit of space. The boat ride takes about 65-70 minutes. The wind and waves are not bad in the winter in July, and the temperature is comfortable. It is more than 20 degrees during the day. During the voyage, the coral reefs and island precautions will be introduced in English. There is no special tour guide, and basically you must have English communication skills. In addition, Klook's AI translation is actually not very accurate. I suggest that they should retain the original English content so that it is easier to communicate with the local check-in counter.

Perfect choice for visiting Green island. Very, very helpfull and caretaking staff. Lot of creatures to see, beautiful fish, sea turtles, coral reef, I even saw a shark up close. Good lunch, fully equiped ship. I highly recommend. Also you can buy excursions from trip staff - try reef safari!

As we set sail, it rained like a storm and the boat rocked quite a bit, but after a while the rain clouds cleared and we could see the ever-summer Green Island! The weather was perfect and we had a wonderful time. We were very excited to encounter so many fish in the semi-submarine, and the lunch buffet was delicious in the coolness of the boat♪ The water is shallow and clear, so even children can enjoy snorkeling safely, and there were many fish even in the shallows! There were also Japanese staff members, so we were able to spend a wonderful day without any worries. Thank you very much.

the semi submarine is great super recommended! and the green island is really awesome! lots of beautiful and cute birds and fishes there. I also saw reef shark and I swam with a giant turtle the whole afternoon. one of the best days this lifetime. I would love to go again next time!

Totally worth every penny! We got on the semi-submarine, it was excellent. We opted for the snorkelling, the best snorkelling area is the jetty area where we saw a sea turtle popping around.

Thisntour was amazing! The staff onboard the boat provided excellent service, educational presentations and wonderful buffet food. The snorkeling was absolutely beautiful and suitable for all levels of experience. If we travel back to Cairns, we’d definitely book this same tour again.

Great experience to view the coral reefs. we had snorkeling, and semi submarine ride included which was great and we could see the marine life in the great barrier reef up close. Lunch was really great on the cruise. please nite the snorkeling area is more suitable for beginners anms it not a very vast area.

The boat trip to Green Island takes about 1 and a half hours. Upon arrival, you will be immediately arranged to join the glass-bottom boat and semi-submarine. Both are highly recommended! You can see many schools of fish and large corals on the glass-bottom boat, with the tour guide’s humorous explanations; on the semi-submarine, you can see the creatures on the bottom of the sea, see the corals up close, and even see several sea turtles! You can choose snorkeling or semi-submarine, but I recommend the latter because you have more than 5 hours of free time on Green Island. The resort on the island is nothing special, and you don’t see many creatures while snorkeling on Green Island.
