Reviews summaryWhat a wonderful time we had during this tour! From the first stop at Hoc Mon, where we saw the intricacies of the gorgeous art made by people with disabilities; to the Cu Chi tunnels, where details and a first hand experience of their historical battle can be eye opening; then the deliciously made lunch that served to fill our tummies; and lastly, the Mekong Delta river tour, where we spend the rest of the tour understanding the local life through delicacies and a boat tour of the river life. The experience would not have been as genuine and heartfelt without our tour guide, Mr. Viet. His sincerity to his job and to his experiences was an additional charm to the beauty of the tour! We were so grateful for the fun we had, and we appreciate the local Vietnamese people whose hospitality and generosity was heartwarming and memorable. Thank you so much!
The tour was amazing because Ben, our guide, was super interactive, and highly knowledgeable. If you want to learn more about the history of Vietnam, visit locals and experience their crafts, please book here! ☺️
This is a must do tour if in Ho Chi Minh City! My parents (63), 2 kids(10,11) wife(38) and I booked the full day of half day at Cu Chi tunnels and half day at Mekong Delta tour and absolute loved it. BoHan was an amazing tour guide and had a deep connection coming from Mekong Delta City with family involved in the Vietnam war. She explained things in great depth and was very funny and entertaining. I would recommend asking for her if doing this tour every day of the week. Highly recommend if in Ho Chi Minh City :)
Our tour was with the tour guide named Dyan, who did such an amazing job! From helping direct the group at each stop, to providing background knowledge of the tour spots and even helping get us some samples of food in certain stops, I couldn't be happier with Dyan. Although there were no changes to the itinerary, do keep in mind that the 1st stop (a shop selling lacquer art) do charge a hefty premium compared to similar art in HCMC, albiet to help a group of people. Our driver also did a nice job guiding us even in some heavy rain back to Ho Chi Minh, so I am glad to have booked this tour!
I had a wonderful experience on the Mekong Delta and Cu Chi Tunnels tour. Our guide, Vinh, was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the trip enjoyable from start to finish. He shared interesting historical and cultural insights, answered all our questions, and made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the tour. The Mekong Delta was beautiful and relaxing, while the Cu Chi Tunnels were fascinating and gave us a deeper understanding of Vietnam's history. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you have Vinh as your guide. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!
Definitely add this to your bucket list when you’re in Saigon! We’re especially grateful to our tour guide, Phu, who was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much about Vietnamese history, culture, and the places we visited. He didn’t just explain our itinerary—he also told us about life in Vietnam and even shared some of his personal experiences, which made the tour more meaningful.Phu even joined us as we crawled through the 100m tunnel trip, always making sure everyone was accounted for and never leaving anyone behind. After exploring the tunnels, we enjoyed a delicious lunch before traveling for about two hours to the Mekong Delta. There, we sampled a variety of tropical fruits, enjoyed traditional Vietnamese music, watched how coconut candy is made, and even had the chance to try the famous snake wine. It was a long day, but every moment was worth it. We’re grateful for the experience and highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Vietnam.
This was an excellent tour. The itinerary was long, with the Cu Chi Tunnels in the morning and the Mekong Delta tour in the afternoon, but it was efficiently managed, which was great. Our guide, Phuc, was energetic and provided clear, friendly explanations in easy-to-understand English. The food was appropriate and delicious. Lunch was served at a clean, upscale restaurant with suitable portions, and the freshly made coconut candy was warm, soft, and sweet. It was also nice to sample various fruits. I especially felt a sense of peace while riding the boat and gazing at the vast Mekong River, listening to Phuc's songs. We experienced all the activities appropriately, such as taking a boat to Coconut Island, riding a tuk-tuk around the island, seeing cobras and iguanas, listening to live music, and taking a private boat for four people.
We had so much fun. Our guide, Vinny was very funny, energetic, and made the whole experience even better. The places we visited were beautiful, and the tour was well worth it. Value for money, highly recommended. 😊
Here's a more polished and engaging version of your review: > Lockie was an excellent tour guide and made our day truly memorable. He shared the history of Vietnam and the Cu Chi Tunnels in a very informative and engaging way, making it easy to understand and appreciate. Throughout the journey, he kept everyone entertained by singing, playing wonderful songs, and interacting with the group, so there was never a dull moment. Lockie is not only knowledgeable but also a talented artist and entertainer. The entire trip—from the fascinating historical sites to the delicious lunch and the beautiful Mekong Delta experience—was perfectly organized. My family had an amazing time, and we highly recommend Lockie to anyone visiting Vietnam. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Overall experience was great. The service van was very clean and brand new. Our tour guide, Dragon King, was very energetic and speaks very good English, explaining everything properly. For me, the only room for improvement is a more transparent itinerary - we were brought to places that weren't mentioned in the booking like the Bamboo and Silk place, another place where they sell handicrafts made by handicapped people, etc.
