Reviews
Today was a transformative journey through the rich heritage and culture of Korea. This enlightening tour with Sophie, my exceptional guide, was a treasure trove of history and culture, and we delved into the charming Bukchon village, where traditional Korean houses came alive. I marveled at the majestic Jangmyo Royal Center, the imposing Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, and was mesmerized by a captivating performance at the palace. I discovered the wonders of Ginseng at a specialty store, learned about its meticulous cultivation, the years it takes to mature, and the incredible ways its components can be harnessed to benefit various health conditions. Sophie is a masterful storyteller, and I highly recommend her for anyone seeking an authentic experience. She transported me to ancient Korea, regaling me with tales that ignited my imagination. Her patience and kindness were evident as she answered all my questions and went above and beyond to ensure our meeting point was easily accessible.
The tour amazing and informative. Our tour guide was friendly and he explained each places very well. We realized that Korea has a very rich culture and history. I hope we can visit Korea next time.
this was a very good tour with Leo as an excellent tour guide. we learned a lot about the Joseon history. highly recommend.
Overall, it was an informative tour with a mix of both history and culture, better understanding the Korea of today. Dragon, our tour guide, shared a lot of historical background on the places visited. Even treated us with Korean traditional tea at a Hanok tea house in Insadong. It was perfect for a rainy day tour. As for the itinerary, I thought I booked a Weds tour so I was expecting to visit Jongmyo Shrine, but since the tour was actually on a Tuesday, we went to Insadong instead. The area was a fun one to explore but it is a place that you could go on your own, hence the 4 stars on itinerary. Dragon however showed a few insteresting places. I would still recommend this tour. Just enough time to learn about some of Korea’s history and culture. Just make sure to book it not on a Tuesday if you wish to visit Jongmyo Shrine.
this tour experience is a must to do for discover another side of the Korean history. Our tour guide Leo and the driver Mr kim were really nice. Leo shares with us a lot a history and extract of movie on his phone which made the experience even better . the timing and planning were excellent too. I highly recommend this tour
We hired Leo for a private UNESCO Historic Tour in Seoul, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Leo is not just a guide—he's a passionate storyteller with deep knowledge of Korean history and culture. From ancient palaces to historic neighborhoods, every stop was brought to life through his engaging explanations and thoughtful insights. Leo tailored the experience to our interests, and his friendly, professional manner made the entire day enjoyable and relaxed. To top it all off, he recommended a delicious, budget-friendly Korean lunch spot that we would have never found on our own—it was the perfect way to wrap up a culturally enriching day. If you're looking for a meaningful and authentic experience in Seoul, we highly recommend hiring Leo!
The guide was very polite! It was a fun tour to learn about Korean history. People who like historical dramas will especially enjoy it.
Chloe was our guide and she was really very lovely and knowledgeable. She is friendly and approachable. It was fun and the tour is very enjoyable. The driver was very friendly and he has good driving skills. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience!
My parents wanted to do a day tour, so I looked for a Japanese tour for a day, but couldn't find one, so I booked an English tour. I thought it would be nice to just see the World Heritage sites and other places. The guide, Leo, was very considerate of my parents, who don't speak English, and was very kind to them. He took pictures for them, walked slowly for my mother who has difficulty walking, and even stopped at a convenience store when they asked him to. The other people on the tour from other countries were also very nice, and my parents were happy that they were able to communicate with them using a translation app on their phone. They also said that they were taken to a very delicious place for lunch, and they brought back a leaflet and eagerly told me all about it. Leo, thank you very much for everything.
Friendly and knowledgeable guide, Park. She gave us a good insight into Korean history which we appreciated. Comfortable van and pace. Overall, satisfied with this half a day trip!
