Baan Orjao Traditional Thai Costume and Photography in Chiang Mai

Before our reservation, we inquired on Instagram several times, and the staff always answered our questions in detail within a short time. We were a total of 7 people (3 women and 4 men). Later, we booked the clothing and two photographers on Klook and a private van on Instagram. The process was very smooth. We arrived at 9 am that morning, and the staff quickly greeted us. They helped us choose and match clothing colors according to our requirements. The changing and makeup time took about an hour. It is recommended to communicate well with the makeup artist before applying makeup to avoid misunderstandings. Most of the white-shirted staff understand Mandarin, but the makeup artists generally only know simple English.

Chiang Mai really has the best tours. Our photographer and assistance/driver were so kind and gentle. I really enjoyed their professionalism and care. You get the photos FAST and they are QUALITY. Get there early to get a good colour outfit and its kind of fast. I honestly think they should have a combo/deals for driver, photopgraher + car and custom as most people need to do makeup and hair themselves. Advice for people booking this. Do BOOK! Drink a lot of water/bring water, have an umbrealla and rent a car w/ A/C. Thailand is a different sort of heat than Jamaica and Mexico. I saw the comments and didn't believe the heat, wow! You are like a steam chinese bun in Thailand and I am Candian who has a jamaican background. Wear nice shoes, a make sure the stuff is tight! Take silly pictures too! And yes if you are black you can come here (thank god), they have a lot of sizes (if you are a chunkers like me). Masculine girls can wear the male clothes as I did.

We had a great experience with the whole team! From the staffs, to the hair and make up artists, tuktuk driver (bon) and the photographer (Justin). It was our first official photoshoot since we got married in 2021. And even the weather is 37 degrees celcius that time, I'd say it was all worth it. My beautiful driver Amanda is a person who can give you enough emotional value. She will also work with my photographer Jastin to come up with many poses and shooting positions. The key is that she will also help with the bag, which is very important for people traveling alone👍. Photographer Jastin is super professional and a person who gives enough emotional value. He also has a lot of shooting ideas, but he is also a person who has a special liking for flowers😂Super cute photographer, I got about 500 electronic files, nearly 600 photos, and it took about 3-4 days to receive them. When choosing scenic spots, you can ask the driver and photographer, or you can choose the scenic spots yourself and let the driver arrange the route. I suggest that you pick some ancient temples you want to take pictures of yourself, so that you can choose ancient temples that are farther and more special, and you don’t have to rent a car to go to those ancient temples, which is completely killing two birds with one stone. I had a pleasant time taking photos around famous temples in chiang mai. The gate and three temples were recommended by the staffs. Some temples required a small entrance fee which is not included in the package. The Photographer was professional. He patiently taught us different poses. The driver was really helpful throughout the photoshoot as well. She followed us around and helped us with our bags. Overall, very pleasant experience.

The make up artists were quick but also careful with the hair and make up. We certaily looked like we were Thai and foreigners with the hair, make up and our outfits (tho we really look Thai tbh). The staff were really nice, they helped us pick the outfit and put it on. My mother was really happy! This is a must when in Chiang Mai. I also highly recommend getting the add on photographer and tuktuk/car and driver for hassle free activity.

This was a great experience. I was very happy I booked the add on services. The driver kept our bags safe and the photographer was a pro, the photos were beautiful and they were a lot! He would help us with the poses and angles. My mom got tired from posing towards the end lol! Having Tuktuk + driver and a photographer certaily made our lives easier, and the experience more memorable. Definitrly recommended!

I had a great time with this tour package. All of the staff members were friendly and nice. I booked a tuk-tuk and a photographer, and we had the freedom to choose where we wanted to go and take photos. The photographer was professional and great at helping us with poses. I even tipped him for his great work. We received all the photos in our email a few days later. It was definitely worth it!

They sent the photos to us early the next morning. The driver also took photos during the photo-taking process. She got out of the car and helped us get our things. At noon, she was worried that we would be too hot and she held an umbrella for us. She was actually very afraid of pigeons, so she took pictures with us and fed the pigeons. The photographer taught us how to pose. The photos turned out great and we all liked them! It is recommended that when you come to Chiang Mai, you must rent clothes and take photos!
