Levy guided us through the prison creating a real clear and picture of what it would have been like in the prison for the freedom fighters.
He had a lot of exceptional knowledge and explained everything in depth. Extremely informative and enjoyable experience guided by Levy would definitely recommend!

Mac made our visit to Hoa Lo Prison much more meaningful. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and explained the history in a clear and moving way. He shared details and context that we would have missed if we had explored on our own.
He was also patient with our questions and made sure everyone felt comfortable and included throughout the tour. His passion for Vietnamese history was clear and made the experience memorable.
I highly recommend Mac to anyone visiting Hanoi who wants a deeper understanding of its history. Thank you for the excellent tour!

Tour guide Liam provided very detailed explanations, making this an activity well worth participating in. Lasting a little over an hour, it offers a glimpse into the brutality of war and a deep dive into Vietnamese history. It is a sobering site, but at the same time, it makes one truly appreciate how wonderful today's freedom is.
