The biggest surprise this time was the cable car. Slowly gliding through the valley in the air, you can see views that are completely invisible from the ground. If the weather is good, the entire panorama is incredibly expansive.

I really enjoyed this itinerary; the attractions were quite comprehensive. In the morning, we visited Hakone Shrine, and then saw the torii gate on Lake Ashi, which made for beautiful photos. The pirate ship ride was very comfortable, and taking the cable car from Togendai to Owakudani was also a highly anticipated experience. Lake Yamanaka and Oshino Hakkai as the final stops were also very unique. Overall, I highly recommend it.

What a fulfilling day! Starting from Hakone Shrine, it was a continuous feast for the eyes. The combination of the torii gate in the water and Lake Ashi truly evoked the feeling of traveling in Japan. The pirate ship and cable car added many unique experiences to the journey. The volcanic landscape of Owakudani was very special, and we even got to feed swans at Lake Yamanaka at the end. This trip is perfect for first-time visitors to the Mount Fuji area.

Today was a very satisfying day on our trip to Japan! Hakone Shrine was unique, Lake Ashi offered beautiful scenery, the pirate ship experience was novel, and Owakudani was spectacular. The final stop, Oshino Hakkai, was incredibly serene, making for an excellent overall experience.

Owakudani felt completely different from other parts of Hakone. The smoke and exposed volcanic landscape on the mountain were truly striking. The visual change, transitioning from lake views to a volcanic terrain, was incredibly dramatic.

Owakudani was even more impressive than I imagined; the mountain scenery is truly unique. Lake Ashi, just ahead, offers a completely different vibe, and the pirate ship cruise was especially enjoyable. This entire route is perfect for nature lovers.
