Reviews
An extraordinary experience! After doing the chopstick-making workshop, we came back here two days later because we had such a great time. Kind and knowledgeable staff! Wonderful!
They were so nice! especially Luna! she was so sweet and explained everything to us and helped our bowls come out beautifully. I would 100% recommend trying this place out!
It is really fun and interesting to learn something from the culture. It is easy to do and the guides are very friendly and helpfull.
very fun experience! the stuff was very nice and helpful.
Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids 10 & 12) had a great time making chopsticks. The workshop is on level 3 and a little hard to find and was a little cramped. However we really enjoyed the experience, didn't feel rushed and would recommend it as a family activity.
The chopstick making was so fun! My wife and I were taught by Scarlett who was very helpful and after a couple of broken chopsticks helped us create our own! The process itself took about an hour and included choosing wood type, shaping, sanding and oiling. we chose to engrave aswell which was a great idea! would recommend to everyone anyone!
It was such a blast!!! Really recommend this experience in kyoto, being able to sharpen your own knife that you then take home is incredible. Jessie was my instructor and she was the best, she gave me advice not only on how to sharpen the knife but also how to maintain it and take care of it and also a little bit about the history. It is not as popular as Hashi making but I would say it's more worth it instructor: Jessie (she's so nice)
so much fun! my wife and I decided to do this as a unique interactive activity for our honeymoon. Tiaan and Jaime were extremely helpful and made this experience that much more enjoyable. can’t wait to come back with our family
Really fun workshop. Everyone is nice and helps you through the process. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to do something different with a souvenir to bring home!!
really fun. loved how the chopsticks turned out! definitely worth going and doing this!
