Ninh Binh Day Tour From Hanoi: Hoa Lu, Trang An & Mua Cave

My two friends and I had a amazing time on this tour! Their is so many different things included in this tour that definitely makes the money worth it. A special thank you to Two for being an amazing tour guide! Provided vietnamese hats and waters to help us in the inevitable sun of Vietnam. He was very knowledgeable, kind as well as funny! Perfect mix! The complimentary food and authentic pho was also an amazing plus! I am very satisfied with this tour. Be prepared for that 500 step hike, challenging but very rewarding. Best to wear sneakers and pack some sandals for the boat ride with the absolutely jaw dropping views.

Had such a fun time on this full-day trip to Ninh Binh! Our tour guide, Hai Dang, was amazing, so friendly, organized, and punctual. He even messaged me on WhatsApp the day before with details on what to bring, the meeting point, and the schedule, which was really helpful! My favorite part was the bike ride through the countryside. It was so relaxing and a beautiful way to see the landscape. The boat tour was also amazing, and luckily it was cloudy, so it wasn’t too hot. Umbrellas were provided for shade too! We also climbed around 500 steps at Dragon Mountain. It was challenging and a little rushed, but the view was definitely worth it! If you don’t want to climb, there are cafés and a lovely lotus pond nearby. The lunch buffet was okay, but nothing special. Overall, I really enjoyed the trip and would highly recommend it! Hai Dang was a fantastic guide and made the experience even better.

It was fantastic! I couldn’t believe all that we got to see in just one day! Our tour guide Chang was amazing! She made the trip educational and fun at every stop! Lunch was delicious and was really nice to have food accommodations if needed. Best day tour to see everything essential and beautiful about Ninh Binh departing from Hanoi. If at any point during the tour you were not comfortable bicycling or walking the steps up at Mua Cave there were alternative spaces to rest, relax, and still enjoy great scenery.

Our Ninh Binh tour was absolutely outstanding, thanks to our excellent guide Tony. He went above and beyond in explaining the geography and history of each place we visited, making the experience both educational and unforgettable. From the stunning limestone mountains to the serene rivers and ancient temples, Tony’s deep knowledge and clear storytelling brought everything to life. I highly recommend this tour — especially with Tony as your guide!

The tour was amazing! Our tour guide was “Two,” and he was so helpful throughout the journey. We visited a temple, rode bicycles, and saw the location where the King Kong movie was filmed 🫢 The lunch buffet had so many options, and about half of them were vegan. I was so happy to see that! The boat tour was another level. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and I loved every moment of it. I really love Vietnam! 🇻🇳 At the end, we hiked up the mountain (500 stairs!). It was tiring, but definitely worth it for the amazing view. If you don’t want to walk up, there’s also a restaurant with a nice view where you can just chill and enjoy the scenery. Highly recommended! ❤️

We had a great day! Mr. Two, our tour guide, was always polite, very funny, and always did his best to ensure everyone was happy and had everything they needed. He also gave us a lot of information and took pictures throughout the day, which he sent to us via WhatsApp at the end. The only disappointing part for us was the switch to the Tam Coc boat trip instead of Trang An, but that was due to the pouring rain, as Trang An was closed because of the weather. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour!!!

We had an incredible day exploring Hoa Lu, Trang An, and Mua Cave! The entire trip was seamless, well-organized, and filled with breathtaking sights. We were blessed with perfectly sunny weather, which made the stunning karst landscapes and emerald rivers look even more vibrant. ​A special thanks to our tour guide, Dang, and our wonderful driver for their exceptional service throughout the day. Dang was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, ensuring everyone in the group was comfortable while sharing great insights into the area's rich history and culture. The highlight of the tour was the boat ride through Trang An's stunning caves and the rewarding climb up Mua Cave for panoramic views over the valley. Thanks to Dang and our driver's great hospitality and professionalism, this trip became an absolute highlight of our travel experience. Highly recommended!

This trip has been one of the best we had so far! The places were amazing, the weather was just nice, the view was breathtaking. We had Two (2) as our tour guide. He was very nice, very funny and always taking good care of us!! He also took really great photos and shared with us. Really recommended him to be a tour guide.
