Tokyo Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko One-Day Tour (Driver-guide service)

What a great experience! We are a group of 3 going with around 6 other people in the same van. Our driver Han was very helpful and fun to chat with. Though he could barely speak English we still was able to chat with him just fine haha. Overall the journey was neatly packed and timed, I recommend everyone to go with a tour guide if you want to go to Fuji as the locations are so far apart from each other, it's nearly impossible to get to all of them in 1 day without a tour guide/driver! Thank you once again Han for the amazing experience ✨.

I absolutely loved this Mount Fuji excursion. The itinerary was perfect, allowing enough time at each stop to enjoy the sights and their spectacular views. You travel in a very comfortable 9-person minivan. I'd like to highlight the excellent service and professionalism of our driver, Moto. From the very beginning, he answered our questions, explained details, showed exquisite patience with the entire group, and even gave us a lovely gift at the end of the tour. Thank you, Moto, for your wonderful work.

Although Mt Fuji was shy the day we took this tour, we were not left disappointed. Sai was our tour guide, he had a great sense of humour. we loved the small tour group and would absolutely recommend over bus tour as you get more time 1:1 to ask questions and learn more. Also, the van is comfortable and allows you time to mingle with other tourists. Walking to the Mt Fuji shrine has many steps - incase you have physical limitations.

Very efficient, very smooth process from booking the trip until the end of the day. the itinerary was relaxing and easy. the driver gave us overview and instructions per stop. it gave us enough time per stop and I highly recommend this especially if you like self guided tours.

The places that we visited were lovely, and we were lucky to have been able to see Mt Fuji. Kawaguchiko park and Oshino Hassai were also lovely to visit. Our driver Moto-san was kind and professional, and we are thankful for his service. The only downside of this trip is that we spent half the day in the car rather than being able to explore the sightseeing places. This was of no fault of the operator nor guide. I think we overlooked the fact that we booked it on a Sat that coincided with a long holiday weekend for the locals. So the traffic was terrible. It took us almost 4-5 hours from Tokyo to reach just the first site. So yeah, remember to check your dates and days before booking any day trip! The other thing I wished we had was more information about the places we were visiting. It would be nice to have more knowledge of the history and culture of the places. But that's a personal preference I guess.

A superb day! Our driver did everything to make us comfortable and was able to find solutions based on our requests. Very thoughtful and attentive. Despite traffic jams, he told us to take our time; we completed the entire tour, and being picked up at home is a real bonus! Plus, Mount Fuji gradually revealed itself, so we highly recommend this tour to make the most of your day.

We had an great time on this tour. It was a clear day & we saw Mount Fuji from all stops. Favourite locations were Oishi Park & Arakurayama Sengen Park where it was worth the climb. You have the option of climbing the 400 steep steps or taking the winding path around. There were nice spots for photos without having to climb the whole way. Leo our driver was excellent & even took photos of us at two of the stops. We booked a Monday not realising it was a holiday so worth checking as the crowds are greater on weekends & holidays.. The only negative was the comfort of the bus. It was a small group so the bus was small which was not unexpected however being tall there was very little leg room unless you sat in the front seats. The trip took 2 hours from Tokyo but due to public holiday traffic it took 3.5 hours on the return to Tokyo & the seats were not designed for a long trip and got quite uncomfortable. In saying that Leo did a great job navigating the best way back.

This small group tour offered great value for money. The vehicle was very comfortable, and they even arranged for the driver to pick us up from our hotel in Asakusa. Our driver was excellent and showed us many different views of Mount Fuji. However, the itinerary was quite packed, and we didn't have enough time for shopping. We did manage to visit all the planned spots, and we were very lucky to see Mount Fuji. I'd like to go again in winter next time.

The Mount Fuji day tour was perfectly smooth, and our driver-guide provided excellent commentary, covering everything from geological formations to local anecdotes in great detail. The unique characteristics of each site were woven into their historical context, making every view tell a story. Our fellow travelers were full of laughter and left with wonderful memories. We had a wonderful experience on the Mt. Fuji tour, and a special mention must go to Ms. Ada, our driver and guide. She was extremely punctual, professional, caring, and genuinely concerned about making sure everyone had a memorable experience. What impressed us most was her willingness to go the extra mile. When Mt. Fuji finally appeared on our way back, she made the effort to return to Oishi Park so that we could enjoy the beautiful view and take in the moment. It was clear that she truly cared about our experience rather than simply following the schedule. Ms. Ada was also a very safe and considerate driver, always on time and attentive to our needs throughout the day. Her kindness, patience, and dedication made the tour even more special.
