You will learn the fundamental brush strokes and the profound meanings behind Japanese Kanji characters. Finally, you will express your inner self by writing your favorite character on a traditional canvas to take home.
After the calligraphy session, you will enjoy a guided tour of the historic machiya to learn about its architecture and Kyoto's traditional lifestyle. The experience concludes with a relaxing time to enjoy authentic Japanese tea and seasonal sweets, with plenty of time for taking photos to capture your memories.
